Porsche’s battery unit for the Taycan is estimated to give the all-electric car a range of 310 miles per charge. In a press release, Porsche stated that lithium-ion batteries are utilized for the all-electric sedan’s battery pack. The Taycan is equipped with an 800-volt battery, comprised of cells that hold 4 volts each.

I think the taycan is going to be a game changer..........

Same 0-60 and range as the Model 3 Performance AWD. If it's pricing itself as a 3 competitor, things could be interesting. However, if it's looking to go toe to toe with the S P100D it better have an upgrade path to improve the performance.

I believe it's pronounced "Thai-Can" with the emphasis on the first syllable.

Looks like an electric Panamera, except pretty.

pricing wont be cheap...if they want cheap EV, VW will build a Polo EV
