Is it safe for us to assume the work was done through the dealership? If so, that is one hell of an expensive cost for appeasement.

I checked the black book value of the car and it's around $5700 - $8000. Any recommendations on what I should do? | While this might be that black book value, a used '09 RAV4 is worth more than that on Craig. Which trim was it?
That range is more of a Gen 2 RAV4 value.

If I have to guess, likely have to swap engine, swap ECU, upgrade transmission (?) axles and whatnot. I am likely wrong, however.
