lol to everyone jealous of others' big amounts, it just means they've been getting up the ass deeper than you have...lol.

It's like bragging about a big tax refund - it's just more money that you've lent the government interest free...

But alas, good on ICBC for at least trying to turn the public's perception, even if it is with a blatant bribe. This (imo) is another win for the NDP so far.

Previous to policy change, the last few years increased about $100 each year even though my discount went up, so it was approximately $1800, $1900, $2000, $2100
Then last year when they changed the system it jumped to over $2500 cuz apparently the 9th year of experience is still hit hard and they no longer count the Learner year as experience. Renewal notice for this year went down to $1562

The refund brought last year’s cost almost back in line with the old trend but still choked.
I’m glad this year’s renewal came down significantly for me

My wife got one, but I haven't so far. I did cancel insurance on one vehicle and restart insurance on another back in the fall though so maybe I don't qualify.

My wife got hers and I've yet to get anything yet either. I haven't canceled anything so I'm assuming it's coming eventually.
