ALso, this is the first time I'm going to experiment with Nokian WRG3 ALL WEATHER... on the TL-S. I'm curious to see if these can handle our light snowfall conditions.

How are these in the dry/wet?

Are you planning on running them year around (yes, i know they are meant to be driven all round, but wondering if there you are also planning on running summer tires)

I currently have some Pirelli scorpion winter tires on my TL-S and want to switch to something else out once they are due

I put on a set of Nordman WR which are the WRG2s on my father in law's TSX for year round use. Works perfectly fine in Vancouver's typical winter situations - good solid grip in slush and snow with good wet performance. A bit soft as a summer tire but just fine for their very mild use.

I'd expect the WRG3 (now replaced with the WRG4) to be really solid in most situations outside of heavy snow.

Bump for this winter.

Thinking about Nokian WRG4s on an NX300 for use in the Tri-cities. Anyone have experience with these living in the snowy areas of the lower mainland?

Would it be a better idea to go for a winter tire like the DM-V2s or X-Ice?

Thanks

Having owned a few sets of WRG2, WRG3, and Nordman WR, all of them had at least 1 tire that didn’t make it to the full term of the warranty, usually due to sidewall bulges.

They must be decent however, if you've purchased them 3 times. Would you purchase again?

Anyone else have feedback for the WRG3/4s? Any other recommendations?

I swear there was a winter tire thread somewhere, maybe I bumped the wrong one.

I have WRG3 on my work ford transit, would not buy them for my personal vehicles.
