Please take this story with a grain of salt BUT approximately 10 years ago I witnessed a Victoria Sergeant taking a bribe from a tow truck driver to tow away my car that didn’t REALLY need to be towed. It was however a parts car I was done with so I didn’t give a shit about it’s fate.

Needless to say, cannot trust the police. I fought all the tickets he gave me and won, and didn’t pay a dime, so the tow truck driver was out $10 for bribing a police officer.

Any update on our favourite officer's visits to dealerships after they've passed vehicles without making changes? From what I've read, one dealership has caved into his garbage demands, but does anyone know if other dealers have stood up to him or not? After all, I thought that authorised inspection facilities were out of his jurisdiction (ICBC and/or MOTI).

Just took off the aftermarket rims they stuck out 1.5 inch out the wheelwells , tires were done too, sold em.

Honestly, not as bad as it seems on a grand scale.... but if you don't need to be here, no need to risk it. But it's still pretty low chance you'll get caught unless your car is outrageously stupid. Cause then even the "regular" VPD will be after you.

Plenty of people have been VI'd on weekends. At least based off tickets posted on the VCC group.

Someone with a golf just got a VI on the 24th which is a Sunday. Got him for camber, exhaust, window banner. Happened on Granville and 70th. More VIs are being reported on VCC recently than on here.

Couple of the subaru guys got busted couple of weekends ago as well.

There was a cellphone and seatbelt check happening yesterday at Main and Terminal. Our favourite traffic cop was there along with his seargent. They gave out 3 VIs total. One was a lowered Lexus they got for exhaust and not having 1" of clearance between the tires and fenders. One was a lowered civic, same thing. Not sure what the 3rd was.

To put an end to all the rumors going around about him being a seargent - I will state now that he is not.

So, long story short, continue to stay the fuck out of Vancouver until Cain is either fired or VPD higher ups take disciplinary action, unless you have a car that blends in?

If so, I know the owner personally and he knows he had it coming. His car is actually pretty loud and he does occasionally drive like an asshole.

That said, he doesn't have any camber except from stock and the cop told him that his coilovers are illegal LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
