the inspections are visual inspections, nothing gets taken apart and we do not do anything with the vehicle other than road test for noises, check to make sure the HVAC works and all switches work, banging on something to make something work will not make your car pass that part of the inspection, i'll break it down the grey areas as best as possible since some shops may fail for something that other shops wont and its up to the judgement of the inspector

Just because you paid $500+ the day before to get the best window tint possible doesn't change the fact that your car is gonna fail and we don't care

There can be nothing on the front windows

Shops that do the inspection are not obligated to do the repairs, if you come to my shop with a VI and didn't do anything to remedy your issues because you thought you were right, I will gladly take your money and then tell you that you weren't

LOL, my girlfriends Lancer that's brand new gets moisture in the headlights and taillights. Dealership said that's normal. Granted her car would never get a VI but knowing that having moisture is a fail is pathetic.

I told Honda Canada that and dealership ended up replacing them.

Not sure, we've complained about the infotainment system freezing multiple times. Apple CarPlay would just freeze and everything would stop responding. Mitsubishi Canada isn't that helpful either. They just said to go to the dealership and have them update the software. Which dealership said there's no software update lol.

Thread got derailed. Honda now puts in the owners manual, it says some condensation in lights is normal. If you have a puddle in there they will surely help you out.

secondly, the odds are against me when it comes to finding another prelude that does not need maintenance, maintenance that ive already done and known to be dones. i already know what my car needs. even if i could buy another, do i really want to risk starting from scratch or even risk catastrophic failure waiting to happen? these are car 20 years old. you'd be stupid to think you're buying one that doesnt need to be fixed.

You ask for help and act like a little bitch when advice is given. Post #1 here clearly states to post a picture of your car and talk about your experience with the officer, if you had received a VI. This was expected to be done in a mature manner, which you have not done so. Granted, you can argue that you initially did so and I agree. It has clearly went downhill from there.

People have offered you help and rather than giving an honest explanation regarding the street racing, you choose to just ignore it and complain. Let's say you weren't street racing and mob mentality has taken over. Logical thing to do is to explain what you meant or clarify that it was a joke. This could have been done by explaining why you got a VI, in the first place. Did you get a VI and other tickets because you were driving recklessly? Were you just driving normally? Dashcam video?

You talk about intelligence and maturity, yet you clearly lack it. The community extends a helping hand, yet all we've heard since the accusation are complaints and whines.

You talk about leadership, let me just say that Traum and the rest of the people who have helped this situation have done way more than what you have shown us. Did you spend 8 months working on this issue with media? No? Shut the fuck up and sit down.

Adults take responsibility for their actions and when things don't work out regardless of the reason, they think critically to find solutions and make decisions to reach the end result they are looking for.

Unfortunately you would prefer to choose to offend those who offered help and now find yourself without a solution. If this is was important for you, you would have acted responsibly and would have done whatever it takes to resolve your situation.

Attacking other people's intelligence and trying to prove a point to people you don't even know shows your maturity and thought process. Sometimes you need to take a step back and accept that you may be out of options and learn from it.

I bought this prelude with the money i had when my civic was stolen. i had a lot of tools in that car and it was devastating. this prelude was the best one out of all the ones i looked at, even though it had many cons, i was confident in fixing it all one by one. so i did.
i left a lot of things out because its too much to set focus on. i had questions and i needed answers cuz its very complex in what i have to do to save myself. the answer is i cant.

would u like to see the emails written with the cop? he didnt give a fucking damn what i had to say. i want this to be over, at one point i wanted my life to be over cuz everything coming at me was so overwhelming.
