Imagine, that instead of VI it would be parking enforcement. Does not matter if you were legally parked - you still paying for towing 300CAD and you can't dispute it...

Yet people still complain about how a db test is done or how vi's are given. I get it freedom of speech but still isn't it repetitive to hear the same shit every time a new VI post comes out. quick bitchin about how that officer does a db test and start bitching about how the LAW and MVA is written.

Like for an example right now. By laws on businesses that are in operation can receive bylaw fines upwards of 50k. People can get fined for being too close to each other, and people will get stopped in the future probably for going out if you are not essential. Good luck.

CorneringArtist 03-26-2020 07:08 PM

Just stop. At best, you're bringing nothing new to the discussion. At worst, you're licking boots.

There are individuals out there trying to make changes to the laws. But that doesn't mean we can't compile the practices of the officers doing everything they can to circumvent issuing fair infractions.

That's an internet... this what people do here. I can fix what you view as a problem in 5 seconds - censorship. Leave only people who write updates to this case. But then you would complain, that you can't be repetitive about how we are repetitive and you start bitching about censorship.

Seems like still happening. 33rd Ave between Slocan and Nanaimo about 10 minutes ago. Lowered car pulled over by unmarked black Ford pickup.

Just add the:

COV - Emergency Measures Act
Must stay 2m away - Social Distancing (families) excluded.
If the police pull your vehicle and your with a friend +$1000.00 By-Law fine.

UnknownJinX 03-27-2020 07:18 PM

So what about roommates? Technically not family, but if we live together then there is not much social distancing going on anyway.

Is this in city of Vancouver only or province wide?

This jimmy isn't a real car guy, cause if he was, he would know this has been going on for a few years now.

:lol

You can always do a F.O.i. when it's over.
That's why the solicitor general voided (Declaration of Emergency) for every other Mayor (except Vancouver) for a (stupid person) tax.
This is a example - When the Vancouver Mayors words are not followed.

And what's wrong with that? Also what the fuck do any of your posts have to do with VPD and VIs?

unless he's changed it up his type-s doesn't have 1" btw fender and tire so no it has nothing to do with #eastvanlife

it would help to only focus on real complaints like those from stock cars/legally modified examples

Way OT, but I had a service client come in saying that the coronavirus isn't as serious as it is, because of this exact statement almost 90% to the word.

Never did I want to verbally lash out at someone so fucking stupid, but it would have cost me my job. That said, this client has an interlock in their vehicle, so they've got more problems than a tinfoil hat that's on too tight.

westopher 03-29-2020 12:18 PM

The conspiracy theory retards are at max capacity right now. Holy shit.

I was just saying they are still giving VI's or at least pulling cars over for it. The RSX I saw had slightly stretched tires if I recall and was lowered. It's something I would expect Cain and co. to VI.

However, my comment about it still happening was more to say why the F are they still targeting modded cars for VI at a time like this? Shouldn't they focus their attention elsewhere.

Depends how you look at "a time like this". Police calls have been cut by half if not by 1/3rd in some places.

They have the capacity to do even more enforcement if anything.

To get back on track:

What FRSDAILY posted, is wrong.

BC uses FEDERAL SOUND LEVEL REGULATIONS

Federal testing guidelines are here:

Last point:
7A.01 carries 3 points. The fact that it carries 3 points means it's a driver behavior ticket. It's not for equipment issues, which are covered under different violations (like 7.03). The VPD is incorrectly using it for subjective equipment violations, which is clearly incorrect.

That's true too. I wonder how anyone with Box 1 would go about getting back their license though since, if I'm not mistaken, all ICBC in person branches are closed.

Guess maybe they would just call up their insurance broker. I don't know how it works so not sure if the shutdown would impact anyone having to get their plate or insurance re-instated after the inspection.
