However, I fail to see how thats anyone else fault but the kid that did it. If that's the type of behaviour we can expect from grown men who are put in a position of power, that's something to be worried about.
I do think there has been direction from the mayor (previous and current) to crack down on loud cars, but not sure why that turned into any car with a single aftermarket part on it.

If I was a gambling man, I'd put money on that this whole ordeal is a mix of the directives from the mayor/council and Cain being butthurt because the kid doxxed him.

When I said not sure why, I basically meant, I know why but it's absurdly unreasonable lol.

In just 10 minutes on Cambie today, I saw:

footage doesn't show that 3 more cruisers showed up (RCMP) and charged onto the scene like one of their own guys was the one tackled. I got boxed in and stuck for a few minutes. the bike cop never got up off this guy the whole time i watched.

For the past 3 days, I've been noticing quite a few cars/trucks with broken driver side view mirrors. The glass was either shattered or the mirror was completely broken off. All the drivers where just driving along like everything is all chill. Those are the ones that should be getting VI Box 1 by VPD. But nope. WTF. :rukidding:

You have to look at his story (I think good for 24 hours, but I just watched it).

Haha between that and the Porsche guy and the cruises the VPD runs traffic control on, the message out of their shop seems pretty clear — if you have lots of money they will look the other way.

If you watched his story, he claims he just called the officer's supervisor (a Sgt) and explained the situation and he took care of it all.

If he's telling the truth, I think the Sgt just heard Lamborghini and $$$ and decided to stay out of potential hot water on this one and just cancel the situation.

Meanwhile the rest of us commoners, someone like Buckingham is telling you he's towing you for your own safety and you ask to speak to his supervisor and Cain rolls up says "I am supervisor, fuck you" and hands you a few more tickets. Yay.
