It wasn't cain that issued it, but he came as the supervisor. I guess the car was so dangerous he needed backup.

A retired guy I know in Squamish here got a VI in Vancouver a few months ago, plus many additional fines (one was for his GPS blocking his vision in the windshield). He drove a Jeep with a mild 2" lift, bigger tires, and aftermarket bumpers/fenders. Nothing extreme, just practical mods for off roading (though his Jeep doesn't have a scratch). He had to return to stock to get the inspection and he said he's had enough, moving further north away from teh Cidiots.

I have nothing constructive to add except this sucks donkey balls. Miss driving my car...and the weather being this nice late into the year is making it even worse.

Honestly I'm at that point. I've been sick of this city for a while. Fuck it here. Everything is some bullshit cash grab fuckover.
Its just not worth being here if one of my favourite hobbies, and one of the best car scenes in the country is going to be ruined.

go get a freedom of infomation request for VI's for the last 5 years and also a count for this year

Also ask for a count of all VI's from Cain and other idiots in the last year

Take the video from riceboi where the references are made to non OEM thus the need for VI

MVA doesnt have any condition that states that non oem parts are not allowed. Every ticket on here states none oem wheels, non oem exhaust but those are not criteria's within the MVA

The officer clearly doesnt understand the law he is entrusted to enforce so therefore any VI's he's written since are not valid and will all be tossed because he's creating his own interpretation of the law itself.

File a suit against the VPD. As soon as its filed all this BS will stop until it goes to court in which case we'll want all VI's issued by CAIN and any other idiot that references OEM parts to be tossed once and for all.
