These base model C class noobs are gonna make my neighborhood a VI hot spot. Ngl it sounds decent. But my God. It's 9PM. It's a residential road. And they went up and down the road 10x. Like fuck there's a back road right behind us, go down the fucking hill.

There was a whole gang of them, but only one of them was doing it. These people are the reason why we get VIs.

How do you guys see shit, half the page is #India don't they have real crime shootings or stabbings to solve. I don't see a burning car here

Manic! 09-18-2022 10:56 AM

Looks like the whole Surrey thing was over a VI.

It took the patrolling officer half an hour to locate the car. Once found, the traffic unit officer asked the driver to stop his vehicle.

When the car was inspected, it was found that it had “illegal defects”. The owner of the vehicle had fixed a high-bass speaker and also redesigned and altered the original shape of the car so that the engine made a loud sound, which was illegal.

The car owner was playing loud music while driving for close to over three hours and during this time he was accompanied by dozens of youths.

The officer issued a ticket to him asking him to remedy the defects in the car and report to him.

JDMDreams 09-18-2022 11:38 AM

Where does it say high bass speakers are illegrals :drunk: what kinda Communist country do you live in

Just thinking on the other side, if a car was blasting music for hours in a residential neighbourhood I would be pretty upset as well.

Can you imagine if chinese people were to ever have such a party? it'll be the most depressing thing in the world. full of quiet dudes standing around smoking and their stick girlfriends looking at each other while secretly judging their shit.

Yeah but at least we'd have chicks. :awwyeah: All these Int'l student parties I"m seeing are huge sausage fests. Remember those COVID clubbing nights they had? Buncha guys pouring champagne into each other's mouths? Yeah not ghey at all :D

Dbone 09-19-2022 02:49 PM

I did comp-sci at university... That sounds familiar but with champagne. :okay:

Anyone see the video of the cop running over the guy on Hastings?

ssjGoku69 09-21-2022 07:56 PM

Does anyone have a link to the video where the guy gets hit? All the news sites stops the video right before contact which has similar vibes to this clip of truck almost hitting the pole https://imgur.com/kuplW0m

edit: found it

What do you think is going to happen if you stand in the middle of the street? I almost hit a guy and his shopping card as he was crossing the highway.

fliptuner 09-22-2022 03:21 AM

Did he died?

You think he had the wherewithal to “think?”
The guy was passed out standing up. I just don’t know how the cop didn’t see him.

meme405 09-22-2022 06:17 AM

That's actually wild. That cruiser was going way faster than 30km/h. Which in that area is a fatal mistake, cause those junkies jump in the street at a moments notice.

I can't possibly see how that guy lived, between the bull bar on the cruiser and his head being almost at ground level. RIP.

There's a cop who's going to need therapy for the rest of his life.

Badhobz 09-22-2022 07:47 AM

i dont get how the cops can use their laptops willy nilly, while they give us shit about cellphones.

did they get special laptop operation while driving training ?

Perfect example of distracted driving here. That or he purposely wanted to carmagedon a crack head.

When there are civilian deaths as a result of police action, isn't there always an inquiry to review the case and make sure there is no wrongdoing on the police's part? Mind you, much of the time, my jaded thinking makes me think most of these inquiry / reviews are procedural, with the inquiry doing its best to protect / defend the police unless there is overwhelming evidence to suggest the police is at fault.

Police cruisers have dashcams, right? I hope they also have GPS overlay so that the speed of travel will be included in the review.

320icar 09-22-2022 08:12 AM

Is it faster than 30kmh? Most likely. But some junkies passed out bent over wearing all black in the middle of the street…. What do you thinks gonna happen. If it wasn’t a cop it would have been a civilian.

68style 09-22-2022 08:38 AM

The speed of the police car is of little consequence, he's under no obligation to be 30km/h or under if he was going to a call of any sort.

Police officers are exempt from the MVA during the course of their duties.

Shit happens, everyone is geared up to take shots at the police all the time, but we don't know what was going on... are you able to drive amazing when you're getting radio calls and trying to look up info on a laptop but also respond quickly? It's not an easy job. Perhaps he's 10hrs into a 12hr shift... it's the middle of the night... why would you expect someone to be standing sideways in the middle of the road? Glanced down at his laptop to check something?

Or maybe he's just flat out careless. Nobody knows, all speculation... funny how people always want to assume the worst though. Light the torches!

JDMDreams 09-22-2022 08:43 AM

:notbad::joy: well if the city can't get rid of them this is one way, maybe he was listening for loud exhausts :lawl:

Yes. The IIO has a look, and then it goes to inquest with the coroner.
