i admit that's a big fail on my part i only go out to Abby may be once a year and forgot they have their own force despite being way smaller than say Surrey a blatant modification causing serious harm/death is a far more convincing knee-jerk reaction to create a blanket crackdown from top down when compared to an officer getting doxxed by a kid in a Silvia doesn't matter if the accord ran a red/was texting etc and was at fault..the fact is the passenger would likely still be alive if it wasn't for dumb mods like that lift |

Another VI victim came as a trade in today, needs inspection has a revscene sticker in the back :) might be parting it out https://i.imgur.com/KWvdkfh.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/6dAWWXk.jpg?1 |
I wonder what's the VI on that thing for. From the pics it only looks like it's got a fartcan and although civics with fartcans are loud, I doubt it's louder than 86db |

Doesn’t look like it’s too low. There’s easily an inch gap in the front, and it doesn’t look like the lips hang below the wheel lip. |

would anyone be interested in buying this VI civic ?? 175k, manual, comes with 2 sets of tires and wheels, has quick release steering wheel, headers, intake... just pm me if interested |
a bit of a noob question.... can a VI be issued to cars with a temporary operation permit? the CVSE website here (CVSE - VIP eForm System - Known Issues) says in the vehicles EXEMPT from VI section; "Vehicles operating under a Non-Resident permit (Section 6(7) of the CTA) or a Temporary Operating Permit (Division 14 of the MVAR)" -> so... temporary operating permits are exempt from VIs right???? but... from the MVAR 25.01 (2) d; "this part applies to...... (d) a vehicle, other than a motorcycle, the operator of which is required to hold a licence under the Motor Carrier Act or a licence or temporary operating permit under the Passenger Transportation Act," Now... I'm not sure how this part is interpreted, for temporary operating permits to be exempt from VIs, does it HAVE to be used as a means for transporting passengers for compensation (the passenger transportation act says that it is for vehicles that transport people for compensation)... So does that mean I'm safe if I want to drive my car in vancouver under a temp operating permit? Or am i NOT safe because i'm not licensed to use the car for passenger transport for compensation purposes? |

Why not? It's insured and on the road like any other car. |
You can even get sent to court for not having a seatbelt on:) first hand experience |
