Nice colour, enjoy the car! And I thought you were always able to order non-xDrive from factory orders?

I agree, I haven't seen 1 red F32 on the road yet, mostly white, some black and blue. I think most enthusiest picked blue over red so now it's super rare. I get the looks all the time on the road. Only downside is it attracts way more bird poops too.

the last popular red bimmer was the e36 iirc, that one was very common

As a guy who used to railroad professionally please don’t park on rail crossings even for a second. You don’t wanna know how many people/animals/cars/buses/etc we sliced every year. My buddies first road job he hit a couch and sliced a pack of puppies because these idiots thought it would be cute for them to play on the tracks around mission. A freight train goes 45-60mph and takes over 3 miles to stop.

duly noted, the whole rail road ordeal happen while i was standing on the rails, where i would feel a vibration from a train a mile away. I was about 2 feet from the car too, my friend was taking the pictures, i was just off the camera with the car on ready to move in a split second. And we snapped the pix fast, probably parked there no more than 2 minutes total. But yes, I understand where you're coming from.

Lmao for every of his pics, he just stops in the middle of the road.

"hang on guys, gonna get some sweet pics of my car sideways on a road/railway. It's NEVER been done."

Kind of cringey/dangerous but hey, whatever makes you happy I guess?

hah, the SFU shots were on thanksgiving day, the place was a ghost town. The forest road shots were at a dead end, no traffic what so ever. I did my best to stay out of trouble, which I did because no one saw me doing the entire photoshoot.

In terms of driver enjoyment/connection AWD is the worst.

RWD>FWD>AWD
I disagree. As a ROUGH rule of thumb perhaps, but every car is different

I think in terms of driving enjoyment, general speaking he is correct, RWD is most fun, AWD may have more grip for racing and such, but traditional enthusiasts prefer RWD like they prefer stick shift, it may be slower, it may not launch as fast as AWD, but it's just a more enjoyable overall experience. FWD are almost as good as RWD now with the likes of civic type r, but most AWD are setup to understeer for safety, and i don't see that changing anytime soon. Ofcourse you got things like R8, which is heavily rear wheel biased "AWD"
