Yes, that's the Canadian government, telling you that your purchases using credit cards (or debit, etc) is not private, and may fuck you over when travelling overseas or to the US.
It would be smart for these places to start accepting bitcoin as well.
Like Im supposed to use real cash on the only website that you can "legally" purchase from. been 2 months and still no storefront in or around Vancouver think about all the profits and tax $ they couldof scored within those 2 months. property taxes+ICBC rates going up yet they slacking
Has anyone else tried www.thedopehaus.ca? Seems like they have some kill prices and a decent amount of flower in stock.
Placed one order so far and the stuff was great!
Looking for other suggestions of placed to try as well.
B.C.'s fourth private nonmedical cannabis licensed retailer is a self-described "mom and pop shop" in Kitsilano.
Evergreen Cannabis will also become the first provincially licensed cannabis outlet in Vancouver when it opens in a few days.
The store at 2868 West 4th Avenue is owned by the husband and wife team of Mike Babins and Maria Petrucci.
Mike Babins, co-owner of Evergreen Canabis in Kitsilano, says he was prevented from ordering product from the provincial government because his paperwork couldn’t be processed over the holidays.
Babins says his company received the licence from the province to sell cannabis legally on Christmas Eve, but they’re still waiting for the City of Vancouver to rubber stamp the business license.
says they plan to open January 5

I just started smoking again recently... As a parent of a toddler it's one of things that keeps me sane after a busy day at the office lol.
I haven't tried this one but I tried a few MOM's, all of them are definitely better than what the licensed outlets and dispensaries sell for sure.
atm, my go to is budbuddies.ca. Their site looks fucking shitty and unprofessional, but so far my experience with them has been the best. Pretty decent strains, high quality, they seem to give a tiny bit extra most of the time (when I buy 1/4, they usually give me 7.1g instead of 7) and at times include freebies as a surprise. Usually get my order in 2-3 days and their customer service is on point.. usually get a response within an hr via email even on weekends.
I'll take some pix of the latest stuff I bought from them when I get a chance.
$20 for the expo. Lots of booths were giving away free t-shirts, rolling papers, grinders, pens and unfortunately no free weed haha. I got 3 t-shirts...could of gotten more but didnt wanna be greedy.
Was very professional and clean. Smokers smoked outside. For the average smoker nothing special. More so for the business and investment community.
One thing I appreciate about the EXPO was bringing weed to the mainstream community. You had media, politicians, cops, grandparents and your average joe all touring around. We still have a long ways to go but the future looks bright.
As I await the arrival of legal, retail weed in Langley, I have been taking my time to peruse the selection at BCLC. While they don't have Romulan, there are still some strains that are worth a try. I advise checking the Back-in-Stock page regularly. The popular stuff will pop up there, and go OOS on the same day.
Here's a couple notables:
Pedro's Sweet Sativa - Great head high. I love the taste. It's reminiscent of lychees. This is my favorite, so far. This one goes OOS as soon as it's available.
GEMS by Up Cannabis - Provides a strong heady high with laser focus. Great if I have reports to do.
Aurora MK Ultra - heavy-hitting, couch-locking high
