Haha. If it weren’t for crazy people, we would all still be rubbing sticks together to start fires and pushing wagons on square wheels lol.

I still don't know what this is or what it does. Why do you need to pull a "room" out of a minivan ? A Mercedes sprinter van would solve the space and height requirements while not compromising the structural integrity or driving dynamics.

Why wouldn't someone go to Canadian Tire or some outdoor store and buy a tent if they want to live like a homeless dude?
I'm not going to shit on what you're doing because everyone needs a hobby but there isn't anyone out there that is going to rent this from you.
All the Toyota bro's have all sorts of shit like this already as well that is ready made to clamp onto their vehicles. A buddy of mine bought some kind of setup that straps to the roof rails of his 4 runner and it sets up like a queen sized bed and covered area in like 5 minutes

The Pontiac Aztek has a factory tent and the old VW Westfalia has pop top.

#vanlife fad.
Is a washroom really necessary though? I thought most vanlifers would just go to the public washroom or pee in the good ol pee jug.

does it matter if I think it's ugly or that Arash will kill himself in the event of a crash? my opinion is not important.

That's cool but why did it have to be a z32 and previa? Couldn't u find worst cars to test your projects be putting them on good looking cars? Why bro why
I chose these donors because of their superior design proportions plus the fact that the Previa is a unicorn of a car.

I gotta say I think the idea of using ladders for their sliding mechanism is pretty slick.
The ladder is not only dirt cheap but the steps actually made the process very simple.

Or that I had lots of free time to see thousands of designs and ideas to bring my own flavour into it.

Im interested in what kind of sheltered lifestyle you can offer near Vancouver for little rent.

That would be an ideal location... but what it offers is a yellow brick road traveled out of OZ... a modern slave society were people spend a large portion of their life to own a box on this planet. https://worldcyclesinstitute.com/ban...-wizard-of-oz/

Berz out.
Nicely CNC'd kit there! Even made to save weight with the holes. I thought I had seen an earlier version before... and with the fold down tailgate on those, an addon tent makes a simple extension. https://i.imgur.com/fiaiMfL.jpg

A slide out is more secure, connected to the inside of the van and can be heated better.

A bathroom is a luxury, specially for a mini van. The tent doesn't even need to be deployed... it will have a squatting toilet like this sketch. https://i.imgur.com/dfG38sX.jpg

People with more money to spend can get a large van, trick it out and even pay someone to stay in a backyard.

In life there are risks... in some circumstances it might even act as a roll bar.
But for sure if the extension is pulled out, it shouldnt be parked where a another car could rear end it.

Today i learned CIC is ArashDesign, wow. So why is the tent positioned in this way? Are you a vampire? do you sleep hanging upside down in said tent?

The tent made a simple cover so that one can stand inside. I recently replaced the hardwood floors to Ikea bed frame ones to make it lighter. https://i.imgur.com/UKmxQ1T.jpg
