it's an extreme example but its a true and one of the more recent examples that that Canada did to discriminate against a group of people. Everyone should be considered equal but now the government has caused such a large divide because of discrimination and basically took our rights of choice away from us.

I can’t even believe someone has to explain this to you, but here goes:
Telling you that you need to be vaccinated to eat at restaurant (a luxury in itself) or attend events that cost a lot of money does NOT compare in any way whatsoever to being kidnapped, abused, tortured, raped and murdered by Catholic priests.
You're buying into the mass-hysteria inducing hyperbole of the alt-right... anything the government tells you to do is "FASCIST/NAZI"... any form of social program is "COMMUNISM"... any attempt to even out injustices of the past is "DISCRIMINATION"... any attempts to bring new people into the country or allow access to the country for others to have a chance there is "ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION"... protests mean the country is being "OVERRUN BY CRIMINALS"...
It's pathetic.

the sad thing, even though we are all over the political spectrum in here, is that no matter who gets elected LIB,CPC,NDP....canada is going down a bad direction with identity politics and division....with social media just getting bigger, the divide will be huge and used for political gains from any party.
