The correlation Alicia Elliot makes there makes no sense. The statement that JWR would have cared more about aboriginal jobs doesn’t imply Trudeau wouldn’t have cared about them compared to “white jobs”. Unless there is more context to that in her earlier tweets. Im pretty sure SNC doesn’t only employ white people as well. Personally, I think every politician should stay off Twitter. They all look like fucking idiots at some point.

Easy there Jordan Peterson...First off, its "Feminism". "Femininity" is actually one social construct that Feminists seek to address by suggesting that femininity generalizes a woman's role and can thus lead to certain injustices against women.

You see, femininity is my favorite things about women. The female tendencies of patience, maternal instincts, care giving add to the fact that they're not like men. When women start to show male tendencies, it's off putting. And that my friends, is an old school way of thinking. But it's mine.

That's the thing about Wilson-Raybould. She is strong, but retains a level of softness that, imho, helps her cause. I believe what she says is true, and that goes beyond my dislike of JT.

And, you are perfectly within your right to have preferences. But, I would caution against generalizing female behaviour as you have done because its easy to argue that there are many women out there who are impatient, lack maternal instincts as well as a strong sense of "care giving".

The main point I was attempting to make was that comments, such as the one put forward by GS8, are laughable because A) its a sweeping generalization of how women feel as a whole about something B) he can't even get his terminology right on the very topic he is supposedly taking issue with. If a person can't even grasp the simple difference between femininity and feminism, then does this person actually have an issue with feminism in the first place?

- Pressured the Attorney General of Canada, and instructed other members of his staff in the Prime Ministers Office to pressure her to give SNC-Lavalin a deferred prosecution agreement because he's an MP in the Quebec riding where they're based. Multiple members of his staff and Cabinet resign.
- Silences the former AG by shutting down the inquiry early, and not giving her full permission to speak on the matter. Also refuses to testify himself.
- Allows member of his Caucus to make racist remarks about former AG.

How in the hell is this budget remotely acceptable?

In 2015, with the Canadian economy humming along nicely, Trudeau promised no more than 10 billion per year deficit, and no deficit by 2019. Now in 2019 hes promising a $20billion deficit, about the same as the last 3 years, and is expecting the deficit to still be in excess of $11billion in 5 years from now, and I guarantee that is based on 2018 economy, not the likely huge slowdown.

How can anyone be okay with promising 3 years of deficits and about 30 billion, and instead getting 10+ and probably close to 200 billion added to the public debt? holy shit. canadaians (that means YOU) are already paying almost $30 billion per year in debt servicing. How many social handouts could that pay for? Hell the difference between what that payment was in 2015, and what it could be in 2024 sure could help the 'middle class' taxpayers.
