Like I said, I don’t really care for him but this is the situation Trudeau has put the country in, not the other way around.
I’m a one issue voter, crime. Therefore I will vote Conservative. I think it’s pretty hard to say fiscally we can get much worse than the current situation we are in. If you want to vote liberal because of these obscure social issues the libs seem to foam at the mouth over, be my guest. It’s hard to imagine any regime leaving you with less money in your pockets.
There’s always been this running narrative here where instead of realizing how much better we could be doing, regardless of who’s in power, people have this idea like “hey well we could be China so it’s not so bad!” It’s really weird. | Nah I’ve never once mentioned China or USA or Myanmar or whatever as the bar. Fiscally, the Libs are doing terribly. This is due to a myriad of factors, most of which are a global issue, and the local issues are from them not doing enough to curb decades of exponential wealth growth for the rich to protect those that aren’t rich, however, if they implement those controls you’d be the first to scream communism.
My issues are, that the cons will do no better at the financial issues that affect me, potentially worse, all the while coming at the expense of social programs for those that need it.
Show me some examples of conservative governments around the world that are swimming in success right now? UK? Yeah going very well there. US under trump? That was super. The government has way less effect on the global economy than people seem to think it does. We’re just along for the ride in our little podunk country.

LOL Honda... quoting a bunch of anti-vaxxers who hide it by saying things like "alternative medical decisions"
Guess what, they'd be fucked in lots of other countries too! Does Trudeau run those ones?
Where's Tyler Bertuzzi's little writeup?
"I dedicated my entire life to playing hockey and pushing nerds into lockers because my big uncle Bert is a badass... then I got paid millions of dollars to play a game that requires immense grit and toughness... but when it came to being pricked in the arm for half a second I balked and made a choice... now Trudeau says I'm not allowed in Canada to play my games anymore"
I can barely stop my tears for the crushing he's endured in his life at the hands of our totalitarian government |

Trudeaumustgo number 1 trending on twitter lol.. look at all these radical people!

JT is a known quantity. There is nothing shocking that's going t come out about him. PP on the other hand has a lot of dirt on him. The Libs and NDP have stayed silent during the nomination. But when the election is called it will all come out.
Also those people you posted are Anti Vaxxers.

Not an anti vaxxer, never was
However, at this point in time does anyone agree with not allowing Canadian citizens back in the country without extended quaratines? Does anyone agree with having to disclose vaccination status when virtually all other western nations no longer require it? $5000+ fines for refusing to be tested coming back into the country you hold citizenship for?
Please elaborate on your reasoning as to why our current arrangement is a good thing
People on their 3rd and 4th shots still getting Covid, the WHO basically declaring Covid is all but over even though half the world is unvaccinated. And we’re still playing this game? Please let me know why

What are you going on about though? What are these people going on about?
I work in a federal gov job... and employees who weren't fully vaccinated have been allowed back to their jobs since 3 months ago when they relaxed requirements. I sit right next to one. She could easily be on one of these posters because she's educated and could write something pithy about herself, but she's also completely useless and would have been fired a decade ago if there wasn't a union and has all kinds of conspiracy theories about why her life is hard. Always 2 sides to every story man.
So what's your problem?

Hey, you could be in what basically amounts to a prison cell in Shanghai so this isn’t so bad!
My issue basically remains that why are we still playing this game of making unvaccinated people some kind of second class citizen? Why? Are you people who are quadruple vaxxed scared of the unvaccinated still?
We are one of the only western countries with these mandates still in place. Why? I really can’t think of a reason because now it’s seemingly slipping in to the “normal” peoples minds and reflecting poorly on the govt.
So I’m just asking, if you think these measures are still required, why?

I’m not so sure anymore about some of the measures myself.
I don’t like sitting next to an antivaxxer. That said, I think she’s more at risk than I am… but I do think she’s a cunt for not helping get rid of Covid faster and so are all these other fuckers…. So no I don’t really care if they’re inconvenienced tbh, because in all their own ways they inconvenienced me by making this last longer than it could have.

Also no one cares about that except for anti vaxxers. The chances of a con majority are slim to none. If they win a minority government who are they going to work with? the NDP the block?
Also some cons are leaving the party and are being bullied for it. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montr...nada-1.6583056
Quebec MP who left Conservatives says his office is being swamped by harassing callers
A lot of center right cons don't like PP.

Did they though? They weren’t allowed in social settings, they couldn’t come into high capacity areas when gatherings were allowed, they couldn’t even sit down inside a restaurant.
This endless message even recently from Justin “we can have a nice winter if everyone gets vaxxed” like just stfu already. This is why I have such disdain for him because it’s this endless trope of Justin knows best so do what I say type BS. I’m done with it

LOL the healthcare worker refusing vaccinations saying the “government says I’m unfit to work”
YOU FUCKING ARE. I truly don’t give a shit about these antivaxxers otherwise. Do your thing. You’re too scared of a needle that you know absolutely fuck all about? Fine. But vaccinations in the healthcare industry HAVE BEEN A STANDARD SINCE YOU WENT INTO FUCKING SCHOOL FOR IT. Figure it out, holy shit.

What should the government say?
“Everyone yolo, do what you like citizens, we’ll just kick back and watch you all go Lord of the Flies on each other enjoy!”
Would you be okay if Trudeau said it more nicely? He does have a mandate to enforce of getting people to roll up their sleeves if they haven’t already.
“I think the situation in Canada would improve immensely and that more restrictions if not all could be removed if everyone got vaccinated.”
It’s kinda weird to need a message said a certain way to feel better about what’s being said… almost…. Snowflake like lol

Hmm...Why are so many small business owners anti-vaxxers? Why are so many anti-vaxxers small business owners? Maybe we should stop lionizing "small business owners" and call them for what many of them are. Shlubs that couldn't hold down a job in the first place.

Well I vote under the assumption that everything else will either be status quo or better than it is currently so if I know a party takes my main concern more seriously they’d likely get my vote

r. Speaker, it is an honour to rise today in support of the traditional definition of marriage. I am also rising in support of the values and the interests that my constituents have communicated to me.
On this critical subject that will define our times, my constituents have told me overwhelmingly that they would like to see their member of Parliament take a balanced position on the question of marriage. They would like to see non-traditional relationships given equal spousal rights through civil unions. They believe that those couples should have the same financial, property and other forms of rights as married couples, but that the meaning of the term “marriage” ought to be preserved as a union between one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others.

We're still debating vax shit on here? Holy fuck, aren't we bored of that yet.
I don't understand how people on either side can't understand nuance here. Both sides on this argument are essentially right and wrong at the same time.
When COVID first started we all needed to get vaccinated, immunity was not established, vaccines were the means to accelerate herd immunity. We got there. The people arguing against that back in 2020/2021 are fucking idiots.
At the same time today, you don't need a 4th or 5th goddamn COVID vax. We've established immunity, those who profess the need at this point to continue to push the idea of further dosages for those that are not immunocompromised are also utterly silly.

Ahhhhh yes the crime free conservative countries.
We will never get out of this circle of crime until we relinquish the devil and embrace our lord and saviour Jesus Christ and the heathens repent for their sinning liberal ways of premarital sex and homoerotic experiences.

Is our healthcare system in such shambles that we need him begging in interviews? Is he that dense to think basically providing this ultimatum for vaccination is going to get people who have been holding out for more than 2 years now are suddenly going to go get it? When Covid is very clearly coming to an end
