He probably used his bf's dick to tickle his tonsils and throw it up right after the photo-op... and then donated a $10k to an anti LGBT fund immediately after that.

What are you suggesting? That regular folk in the middle class should take up the role of a CEO and be paid the same wage as the person next to us?

If so, why not suggest to your MP and MLA to bring all these so called essential services and food to become Crown-owned corporations?

Hondaracer 01-06-2023 02:21 PM

What I’m saying is that is 10-20 million not enough for these people? They can’t support their own workers/employees? It’s a little closer to home as I’m seeing this insane corporate greed first hand right now with my own employment. It’s not the end of the world for me but for many of my colleagues it will certainly be a rude awakening.

My MLA is POS Jenny Kwan, just more corruption and govt. bloat from that bitch she won’t do a thing

Badhobz 01-06-2023 02:36 PM

Capitalism at work my friend. This is modern day version of the class system.

This is where you'll get called a commie and the discussion is considered over.

I mean... I can be an emotional guy so maybe its just my feels acting up... but I kinda want to hug hondaracer right now :notbad:

Hondaracer 01-06-2023 03:29 PM

It doesn’t matter until it affects me!

:troll:

It’s not really going to effect me too bad but I’ll post more about the inside info when I can re: my own employment and how gross it’s gotten

bcrdukes 01-06-2023 03:32 PM

Spoken like a true keyboard warrior.

Badhobz 01-06-2023 03:55 PM

Totally relevant

westopher 01-06-2023 06:15 PM

LOL I fucking love this new hondaracer. Every smart conservative becomes a commie once they are no longer the upper middle class.

When food prices double and triple there shouldn’t be some sort of justification for it because at the end of the day it’s largely corporate greed as the cause

Just pull yourself up by the bootstraps and make $80K so you can afford to eat

If there were no people willing to pay double or triple price for food, then food wouldn't be that expensive. The system works!

westopher 01-06-2023 07:26 PM

Entry level wage for dinner is now 100k.

He's fitting perfectly into the commentary of this article:

https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...twing-with-age

Millennials aren't becoming more rightwing or conservative with age (as customary), why? Because everything is damn expensive and out of reach in a way in which our parents didn't face.

CivicBlues 01-08-2023 01:31 PM

Can't be a conservative if you got nothing to conserve

Liberals end up buying the F-35 jets now ... :ahwow:. Trudeau in 2015, 'We will NOT buy the F-35 jets!'

Hondaracer 01-09-2023 06:52 PM

There was a political analyst on the radio today saying there was never a time between when Harper announcing the plan up until today when there was even a bidding process in place. So they delayed the inevitable and never even tendered other offers because the bidding process itself would have been so costly.

This is basically the Massey tunnel project on a federal scale

Btw, went downtown for the first time today in about 6 months

In 15 minutes of walking up and down 3 blocks, saw at least 8 people camping in store fronts, a nice big pile of shit right behind my vehicle where I parked, and 2 different homeless people screaming at random pedestrians. This was at Seymour and Georgia.. #ThisIsWhyWeLiveHere

Morneau says PM favoured 'political points' over policy, felt like 'rubber stamp' ahead of 'inevitable' resignation

https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/morn...tion-1.6221671

Former federal finance minister Bill Morneau says that when it came to COVID-19 pandemic aid policy, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the top advisers in his office favoured "scoring political points" over policy rationales, leading to him feeling like a "rubber stamp" ahead of his "inevitable" resignation.

“My job of providing counsel and direction where fiscal matters were concerned had deteriorated into serving as something between a figurehead and a rubber stamp,” he writes in his new book, out on Jan. 17.

sonick 01-10-2023 06:59 AM

If only conservatives could find a relatively socially moderate candidate to lead the party and not rely on trying to appease far right narratives.

Trudeau has long been too comfortable, getting too complacent. He needs to at least feel some sort of valid threat of losing his position.

There is nobody challenging him to justify the decision making, and if there is, he doesn't feel a need to respond because its often confounded with these far right narratives that the general public is rolling their eyes at.

Like despite all the complaints from Hondaracer I feel the criticism of the F35 debacle is valid, I would like to hear at least some sort of justification or reasoning from the Liberals why the change of heart.

Hondaracer 01-10-2023 07:13 AM

A man wanted on numerous outstanding warrants and also with dozens of previous convictions shooting police and paramedics with a pellet gun as they respond in the DTES:

https://bc.ctvnews.ca/pellet-gun-fir...-vpd-1.6223488

He just needs a real chance though? He’s got a roof over his head and a pellet gun in his hands.

Or this one is really good. Anyone remember this fucking freak Randal Hopley, he kidnapped the kid in BC’s interior

https://globalnews.ca/news/9398542/p...andall-hopley/

Basically as soon as he’s allowed freedom he instantly breaks the conditions of his release?

This system encourages people to reoffend. Imagine you’re the family of the boy he kidnapped and you see this shit

you mean like erin o'toole?
he supported same-sex marriage, stricter gun laws, and was pro choice but those stances were deeply unpopular with the party, losing him the election and then the leadership of the party.
conservatives are their own worst enemy right now

westopher 01-10-2023 08:31 AM

Cons need to oust the nutcases to the PPC if they want a chance.

whitev70r 01-10-2023 11:18 AM

But it's the same story - rinse, repeat. Conservatives want to unite to defeat the Liberals. There is always a wacko contingent that arises, the wackos start a new Conservative party, Liberals decimate them, the two parties unite, then they internally kill each other. Repeat.

Wonder why this doesn't happen to Libs and NDP.

Hondaracer 01-10-2023 11:43 AM

I think even liberal supporters have had enough of this wackiness.

Now they will jump ship as per usual and we’ll have a conservative majority and people can go back to bitching about that.

Dunno what the future holds for democratic societies but doesn’t seem like shits working too well

unit 01-10-2023 12:00 PM

i dont really see how the conservatives can get back into power anytime soon.
they dont want to evolve as a party, and as young people continue to vote left the conservative party becomes less relatable every day.
