It will be something not so painful haha. Bottle of scotch? Something nice, but not "I drink this while sitting in my garage while looking at my gt3RS nice" |

I hope I am as optimistic as you are about PeePee and the Cons, Westopher, and I hope you'd be right about regular folks thinking PeePee is that even bigger twat than Turdeau. |
Fuck I hope so too |
As canadas debt skyrockets how much longer can we possible support shit like this https://globalnews.ca/news/9400363/u...efence-system/ Quote:

https://globalnews.ca/news/9292975/trudeau-aid-haiti/ Why I think PP may have some sort of chance is I have friends who are not involved in politics whatsoever and are smart enough to understand first world countries need to aid other countries. But they see shit like the missle defense system etc. and ask me like holy fuck can we stop cutting these billion dollar cheques when people can’t afford groceries for a few minutes? Another one that just popped up, the potentially 2b+ gun “buy back”? https://apple.news/AyxHpjAXISOud4bxB9l7itg |
Canada has always put money into foreign aid. It costs us less money than going to war. Look how much the US spends on defence and right wingers down there love the fact that the country spends nearly 4x their GDP percentage over Canada. |
When does the justification end? When you lose your home? Haiti, Pakistan, Afghanistan: https://www.international.gc.ca/coun....aspx?lang=eng 4 billion dollars to Afghanistan over a 20 year period so that 4 months after pulling out women can’t go to school or get a job. That was money well spent These ventures are futile. Not only that but trudeaus numerous missed bids on the UN Security Council just highlight how insincere any of this is, and he was called out appropriately for it, saying all this shit is about gender equality and human rights then he hides all the SNC lavalin shit who had hidden deals with Libya https://amp.theguardian.com/world/20...justin-trudeau Quote:

This has literally been happening for decades. It's not "Trudeaus canada" that has invented foreign aid. As you mentioned, that 20 year period includes Harper. What is going to cause me to lose my home? That $17 of my tax money out of the tens of thousands that went into that? Afghanistan's in crisis, so we shouldn't try because it hasn't worked yet? That person over there had cancer and died from it. We should give up on the research? There's still homelessness so why keep trying to solve it? Those people lost the birth lottery we won, so fuckin let them die, right? That's their problem. |
Giving away a couple pennies on the dollar to live in Canada Count me in |

Okay so the money supposedly isn’t always getting where it needs to go. Let’s spend billions setting up and staffing our own aid organizations in foreign countries waiting for bad things to happen to them then. Sound good? That’s the best way to ensure no dollars get wasted right? :) |
We cut enough blank cheques here in Canada which are squandered and embezzled. We don’t have to do it everywhere. Not one of you could say with a straight face 25 million to Haiti is gonna do a damn thing. I 1000000x bet you this YouTube “indigo traveller” who raises money for places he visits will have more impact with his viewership and influence in building something tangible there then the 25 million+ we sent. I know 25 million is nothing, but all of these actions are just frivolous. |
I agree in concept, like it annoys me at work that I can spend half a day trying to justify someone using the wrong credit card for a tank of gas meanwhile $25M gets sent to X country and it’s like “Why do I even bother?” but it’s kinda what Canada is known for and differentiates us from shitty / closed off countries. |
If Hondaracer is going for a bet, I'll be down again. I ain't saying no to free money in this economy. :lol |
Would be nice to see him wager his home and car to make it juicy and worthwhile. |

I like Indigo Traveller, but he really gases up some of his shit. "I'm about to go into the most dangerous place on the planet, a literal warzone" He then proceeds to walk through a safe market, nothing happens :lol I've been to the places he visited in Northern Nigeria in a recent video of his, it's not the literal warzone he tried to depict those places to be (Kano for example). Much of his stuff is sensationalism. It's like when vloggers post videos in places like Tepito in Mexico City -- "ZOMG, the most dangerous place in Mexico City, they'll kill you right here!!!", they proceed to visit, nothing happens, it's just a black market exchange within the city itself. It's travel-porn. |
Some places he goes though 100% you could get killed for your camera and no one would care your dead I would assume the guides he hires etc. he puts in place some sort of insurance policy agreement like, keep me safe and the day I fly out I’ll throw ya another $5000 lol |
Yeah his latest series on Ghana was weird and short (only like 4 eps). He literally just went straight to the biggest slum you could find in Accra. Didn't want to show anything else like how the middle class lived or even the upper class. Never been but know for a fact it's not that desperate there. But he's gotta get them shock-porn clicks I guess. |
^This exactly, which is why I'm not a fan of his journalism style. He never shows the good parts of the places he visits, just poverty porn. It makes me question his intentions in terms of how he portrays the countries he visits. |
