.

sharing stage with yellow vest protest vs. with somebody who advocated/supported mass killings and with involvement in air India bombings is two quite different things. maybe u should do a little search on the topic. in-fact thr is still alot of money being funneled into terrorism in name of Khalistan from Sikh communities in US/CANADA/UK.

I am pretty sure I know a lot more about Air India than you d.

You might want to do some research on faith goldy. She was fired from the rebel for a reason.

By election in Nanaimo so Jagmeet singh was in town. I got to give him and Bob Chamberlin a tour of Makerspace Nanaimo. Made them a couple of signs on the laser cutter. Also got him to sign my book.

what a disgusting conflict of interest

Quote:

Singh, the UBCM president, said B.C. mayors and councillors are only interested in economic-development opportunities with China.

He doubts China is exerting any influence or control over local B.C. politicians.

“People are more on guard than ever against those kinds of things,” Singh said. “I have a lot confidence in the sophistication of our members. They’re not going to be unduly influenced by anybody.”

They really need to let Bernier participate in the Munk Debate. The Liberals once had to threaten to pull out of a debate if Elizabeth May wasn't allowed to join. Since Bernier is going after all the parites, he likely won't have anyone go to bat for him.

If the liberals were interested in being re-elected they would have laid Trudeau to the slaughter and appointed Wilson-Raybould as the party leader. It would have been a fairytale election this year.

"Taking responsibility" would imply some sort of repercussion.

westopher 08-14-2019 07:19 PM

Responsibility means waiting for a bit without talking about it so people forget about it.

My job as prime minister is to stand up for Canadians and defend their interests. Yes, it is essential that we do that in a way that defends our institutions and upholds prosecutorial independence, but we need to talk about the impacts on Canadians right across the country of decisions being made.

I can't apologize for standing up for Canadian jobs.
i thought mr. fruit cake did nothing wrong?

The repercussion is Liberals will not win this year.

Scheer and the Cons are secretly wishing this report came out in October. The average Canadian won't remember half this stuff come E-day. Plus, if history is any indication, severe scandals do not always equate to a government losing an election.

twitchyzero 08-15-2019 06:21 PM

election is weeks away, not 6mos

but i think the average voter probably doesn't even know about it

trump this trump that, china hong kong this that etc...look how slow this thread is compared to other current event posts

i think people have already made up their mind on the snc scandal months ago, this ethics report and apology wont sway many to either side

true.
I think Canadians could use a "brief" reminder from time to time..

Mr.HappySilp 08-16-2019 01:34 PM

Don't worry people will vote base of the PM's new look. All JT have to do is get a new haircut put on a pair of different socks and people will vote for him.

Last elections I literally have co workers and friends voted for JT base on his looks......

Wait a sec..Were supposed to base our vote on something other than looks??

Mr.HappySilp 08-16-2019 02:17 PM

^^ That's what I though! I literally shake my head as I heard that......

Liquid_o2 08-16-2019 03:36 PM

I truthfully have no idea who I am going to vote for. Trudeau has really disappointed me. He started off strong in 2015/16, but his last couple years are becoming a train wreck.

I can't believe that Scheer is the best the Cons could drum up.
