Trudeau saying the mass resignations of his charity over a million dollar donation from prominent Chinese business man is the “politicization” by the cons, lol
That hockey player in Richmond, Ray Sawada died the other night playing rec hockey... was my niece's coach...
Comments section everywhere on FB are just full of fucking morons "The vaccine... another young man in good shape suddenly dies... sound familiar???"
There's really no hope for society they way things are going. People who were that fucking stupid had to cope with not having a voice all their life but now they all have platforms thanks to social media and it's utter insanity.
One of my best friends died 4 years ago at 41 years old, ran 10km a day healthiest fuckin guy ever but he still had a heart defect that went undetected and just dropped dead one morning... I guess his death was vaccine related before vaccines even existed too huh? Morons everywhere.

It's amazing to me how many far right wingers are seemingly incapable of shutting up. I saw a post about The Offspring in 99 vs now and the comment section is all antivaxxers going on about the drummer, all the people complaining about Bud Light like that marine supply store, even this guy I have to work with who just can't stop whining about COVID and Trudeau and blah blah blah at every opportunity.

He was a friend of a friend. I'm sure he's just fuming reading these dumbfuck comments.
My cousin passed away just before Christmas the same way. 41 years old and had a heart attack on the bench. That shit is very scary for people like us.

What are the stats on in shape people in their late 30s and early 40s having a heart attack while doing physical activities? Seems like it should be extremely rare with no pre-existing conditions

It's rare for sure, but the issue is that people don't know they have these conditions. It's very unlikely regardless. It's also unlikely you're going to get run over, get into a plane crash, go missing in the backcountry, etc, but when it happens to a friend, emotion takes over your logic in the situation.

The data should be clearly out there, anyone who is proposing that should be able to support that argument with evidence, which I've seen none of.
The people bringing that argument to the table are the same ones that don't have a fucking clue how to interpret data so it wouldn't matter if it was out there.

How come these Libertarian/Conservative weirdos love to decry government and say it should be drowned in a bathtub, meanwhile spending their entire careers within an institution they say shouldn't even exist?

It's laughable at best.
reminds me of this gem of a scene from ghostbusters when talking about those never had to work in the private sector their entire life

The problem here is though when you've got people with multiple violent crimes, get them into the fucking court system. Like the next day. Skip the VIs and cell phone tickets please and get moving on the shit that matters.

Yah I mean... obviously I prefer the country and all countries to be innocent until proven guilty... but these sorts of delays create opportunities for people to go unchecked if they are actually guilty of said crime and potentially do harm to others or themselves.
We do, but In Canada we also have mechanisms in place to hold violent offenders until their trials, the problem is that the courts aren't properly assessing and holding these people.
