The Canadian population is now 1 in 20 Muslim and it’s the fastest growing religious group.
In b4 immigration backfire.
I’d say it’s fairly safe to say, if you’re emigrating to Canada, and you’re checking off Muslim on the box, you carry with you traditional values of that religion.
So whether or not these people are marching in protests etc. this sentiment is obviously brewing among the fastest growing group in Canada.

People don't need to share my values, but in the education system, and in government, religion can fuck off. We should have also gotten rid of catholic schools from the publicly funded education system half a century ago.

Only in 3 of the provinces are catholic schools publicly funded. In the rest including BC it's privately funded through tuition collected each month.
Given that it's private in BC I guess they can do what they want.....?

If it's publicly funded in 3 provinces that's still 3 too many.
I agree though, if it's paid for by the people that enrol in it, then they can teach whatever they want, however, post secondary education should be taking the marks/curriculum for admissions into consideration, good or bad.
According to any info I could find there are 6 provinces where it is still tax funded.
Edit: 4 provinces and 2 territories
