My argument is if you're going to put the time and money into putting free things in a restroom for peoples convenience why not cater it to the gender that's going to be using that room 99.9% of the time. The percentage of these being stolen vs actually helping someone in a pinch is nowhere close in my opinion.

Not a big deal to me at all, and I think it's fine to provide them to people. Some don't realize but a lot of cultures don't talk about periods or facilitate their children with the products needed to kids when puberty hits. I've heard stories of teacher friends having students flowing in class onto their chairs because in their culture it's not talked about or shamed upon.

Having it in the guy's bathroom? Meh, kinda stupid, but we live in stupid times.
