CBC has done their best to avoid even mentioning Bernier or the PPC, so it's nice to see them getting media coverage, even if it's in the US and on Fox News. Just today CBC happened to do a small feature on the Aldergrove riding and listed all the candidates running, but for one - Natalie DiPietra of the PPC.
When one of your platform planks is to defund the CBC, I wouldn't expect any favors from them. Or even equal and fair representation.

What someone believes is different from what someone does. I personally don't give a crap about a candidate's religious beliefs as long as they keep it separate from what they do. If a candidate hates gays, that's fine as long as what they do still reflects the will of the people who elected them. Any religious person is going to believe in some backwards crap, it's how they're brought up and I don't fault them for that.

Anyone with automatic hatred (your word) of people for their sexual orientation, gender, race, religion, anything - should be shunned by society and removed from any position of authority. "reflecting the will of people" who share these feelings is the last thing Canada needs.

Every day. I work for a medical research company even though I believe animal testing is wrong. Same goes for defence lawyers, they can believe their client is guilty as fuck but when they're on the job, they better do it to the best of their ability or find another line of work.
