^I wouldn't call it moronic. Repeat a lie long enough and it becomes truth. They keep beating that drum and the PPC can't get it's message out. Dirty politics. Quote:

It's so hard to get people to look at the facts once the narratives are out there and people adopt them as "truth" I have this issue when talking to people about looking at the actual issues and policies. They just say "well, they are a racist" there's no conversation after that and other wise. As much as I do not align with the Liberal party I always try to get down to the actual policies that would affect me, this does not seem to be the way a lot of people look at these. My facebook is full of friends that condemn people for even considering voting Conservative or PPC. I wish there was a way to convince people to look at the facts, and have them build their own narrative about the parties/politicians. I am not telling people to not vote Liberal, I am saying that if I don't vote liberal, I have my reasons for it that are based on my research. |
I wish my FB friends at least did some research and discussed policies. I'd take that any day over the fake news they constantly share/re-post without actually doing any goddamn research. |

He needed 250 signatures. He could have gotten anyone including you to sign but instead he got a person who started the Canadian chapter of Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the Occident. You would think he would be proud of the 250 people that signed. Hey look these are 250 great Canadians that helped found our party, but no. He has been trying to keep that list secret. I wounder who else is on that list. One of his own candidates asked him to denounce racism. Instead of denouncing racism he fired the candidate. Quote:

Munk Debates cancels foreign-policy event because Trudeau won't attend So our dear Prime Minister has declined to attend a public debate on foreign policy while Scheer, Singh, and May have all agreed to go. WTF, Mr. Trudeau? FailFish |

He can denounce racism until the cows come home. It won't keep people like you from marching with your pitchforks out because you're ideologically possessed. That is, nothing he can do will change your mind. If you think Bernier, his policies, or his party are racist, that's fine. It's not fact, but opinion. And I really don't care what yours is. You vote as you please and I'll do the same. |

Can you imagine Trudeau showing up to the G20 or the United Nations with this whole blackface thing hanging over him? |

Is it common practice to do background checks when collecting signatures? I don't care if Hitler himself signed for a party to become qualified. As I understand it, signatures are not an act of endorsement of that party by the signer nor are they a membership approval by the party to those who signed. If the. Cat Lady Party was looking for the required signatures to enter politics, I would likely provide my signature, even if I don't like cats or cat ladies. The reason being is that they are attempting to participate in democracy so why not, it's not like I'd vote for them. One of the PPC members falsely calls out racism in the party and ignores all the inclusivity and tolerance the party has been speaking of from the beginning, harming the party and its message, and you wonder why he was fired? It's almost like he was a plant, as the PPC quickly worked to add more candidates, in an attempt to derail their campaign. It would not surprise me in the least given the efforts to suppress and ignore them by the CBC and friends. |

Imagine showing up for the g20 while the commonwealth is trying to split from the European Union and you are steering that catastrophe. |
Imagine showing up for the G20 in an Infiniti G20 |

Fuck the environment, I want our government to have a plan for the shit that's going to happen envitably. The floods, forest fires, blizzards to come. At this rate, I don't see any country lowering emissions. Waiting for the next nuclear energy revolution. |
I'd like the see a deal with the Indians. Infrastructure, housing. education, support for the trade that within a specific time frame, they will not receive any further support just because they were Indians. I see it as, they were here first, ok, but we brought land development. If NA was never discovered, i'm sure they'd be just as advanced and at tribal wars as much as the uncontacted ones in the Amazon. No deal? They can continue to develop their land on their own. |
The government works for us, shouldn't we be the ones telling them what we want? |

This province in particular is extraordinarily rich with history of natives stretching back thousands of years. There are at least 50 land claims by over 60 nations spanning almost the entire province. And that is just the nations participating in negotiations. https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link...3-c890a4407e9c Regardless of how long our governments stall (and they have been for many decades), these claims aren't going to just go away. |
Am I reading this right? Some of the land claims overlap... |
Yes. There are overlapping claims. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stat...d%20recognized |
On a lighter note, Jagmeet Singh drives a 2008 BMW Z4M Coupe. Good taste. I'm marginally more interested in him now. https://dynamicmedia.zuza.com/zz/m/o...85_Gallery.jpg https://www.mississauga.com/communit...-finer-things/ (article is from 2011, but the car was also alluded to in a 2017 interview) |
