Bra.. he’s a lame duck PM with nothing to lose. At the same time, he’s still the prime minister, if any of these allegations had any teeth the people in question would be arrested and charged. It doesn’t matter that they are cons or not. My MP Jenny Kwan is a fucking crook and I get pamphlets in my mail box with 1/5th English and the rest Chinese, you don’t think someone who’s actively engaged in fraudulent activity isn’t influenced by foreign powers? And she’s the fucking encumbant POS ruling our riding. I’ll spoil the ending of this story for everyone, nothings gonna happen/change. |
I am late to the 270k/yr convo I totally get what Evo means. We are a high HHI family of 3. Before we bought a house, we never thought twice about money. Condo mortage payments were easy. After buying our house, now I need to regularly double check that I have enough cash in my chequing to cover the mortgage and credit card bills each month. I've not felt this way since I was a student in university. So yeah, I don't feel "rich" one bit. But do we feel poor? Heck no! "Paycheque to paycheque" is just semantics. |

Someone on the whatsapp chat for my old condo building posted a "Dear neighbours, pretty sure I saw votes just being thrown into garbage bags at the church might want to think twice about what's happening with your vote" type of message... fuck these people are everywhere now. It's like half of society in North America is mentally ill or something. I guess they all think they "WOKE UP" though. |
hahahah yes! the retards are coming out of the woodwork now. |

The little machine spit my vote out, musta been built by NDPer’s |
I got my first real Alberta experience at dusk yesterday. Went to Crowfoot Crossing in my Supra, which has BC plates on it front/back which become important later... I was sitting at an intersection waiting to turn left onto Nose Hill Dr to go back home and there was a massive white Silverado on the other side of the intersection... not a dually mind you, but still lifted to the skies and on those massive wheels that poke like a foot out of each wheel well and look ridiculous. Proudly flowing from a pole erected on the bed behind the cab was a gigantic "FUCK TRUDEAU" flag... anyway the light turned green and I pull out and I'm waiting for the truck to pass and he starts dieseling it away from the line and then slows up and I'm thinking... the fuck is this clown doing go so I can complete my turn... well I guess he noticed I had a front plate/my BC plate, so he leans out the drivers window and just screams at me "GO BACK TO BC YOU FUCKIN COMMUNIST" and then floors it make a big cloud of black smoke... lol Idiots mannnn... need to go back to school and re-learn what communist governments are all about. Not sure what about a Supra is communist, but I guess the BC plates are an assumption? I do notice whether I drive AB or BC plate vehicles, I get treated quite a bit differently here. People get all bitchy and competitive when I drive my BC plated cars. Or maybe they just hate Supras. The MR2 is kinda in the middle because it's on collector plates and look weird so they maybe don't know what to make of those hahaha |
Albertans are terrible drivers. I came across a bunch of them on the highway last weekend. The worst was some idiot in a beat up old Mercedes who was tailgating people who were already doing 30+ over and in the middle of passing someone else. Have you decided which type to be once you get all your red plates? |
Atmospheric river like weather on Saturday's Provincial election, glad I voted early. Wonder if that will affect turn out and if less people turn out, which party does it favour? |

Calgary drivers are a different type of bad driving, it's like they're just not paying attention and hoping for the best all the time? So much "I'm just gonna go and hope it's clear" or "Look at the clouds!" bam rear end someone or just straight up YOLO attitude... it's kinda bizarre. I would say Surrey is the closest comparison in the lower mainland. |
AB plates are usually the slowest drivers i have ever seen in bc. i think it has to do with them having speed cameras everywhere in AB? i hate getting stuck behind an AB plate. |
can't be bothered to even show up for an all candidates meeting still going to win because shore boomers https://www.reddit.com/r/NorthVancou...k_a_noshow_at/ i gotta get into politics - sounds like easy money |

One thing about AB drivers I's they take their highway construction zone speed limits very seriously. In BC people just go with the flow I find, but in AB they slow right down, day or night! |
Apparently Australia is insane when it comes to traffic violations they fund a huge chunk of public services through traffic tickets We have some friends who come back and spend a month in Vancouver once a year and will typically go on a few road trips during that time, their driving habits are always 5-10 below the limit because they are conditioned to be scared shitless of tickets lol So whenever they drive with me say on the coquihalla etc. and I’m doing 135 in a 120 they are sweatin thinking we are gonna go to jail :lol |

For me, driving around AB for over 1.5 years now, I can say I respect how they drive. Big city dwellers will always have their aggressive tendencies but overall, I find AB drivers to have a little more critical thinking skills (from my experience). I use the QE 2 HWY a lot and while there's plenty of opportunity to rip 160km all the way to your destination, nobody does. The temptation just isn't there like it would be here. The HWYs are air traffic patrolled and I always see police pulling someone over and the locals have told me they do up their quota at the start of each month. The other thing I noticed is that if someone is pulled over to the shoulder (even if the shoulder is massively wide), everyone in the right lane will move to the left lane until they pass the vehicle and then all move over to the right again. Can't say I've ever seen that here even on clear roads. I've just become a chameleon when I hop back and forth between provinces. Speaking of reptiles, In this economy, I might end up being a lot lizard WutFace |
A lawyer and 20 year political analyst outlines the exact same shit I just said on the last page including Turd admitting under oath Liberal MP’s have been subject to the exact same thing he is accusing the cons of but has never said he will pursue it or do anything to rectify the situation https://apple.news/AqLnFL_l5QfeV6uJKNEI8pg Derrrrrrrr… how could he be wrong our faithful leader |

sounds like this week is the call for resignation - i hope it happens, it's way past time for JT to go. Not going to be enough time to pivot to beat PP, but they can at least start thinking about how to get ahead of this groundswell of american style hate politics. Never thought I'd pine for the days of Erin O'Toole. I'd be glad if he was the one skating into the PM's gig instead of that snaky fuck PP. |
