Not a fan of JT but I'd vote for Mark Carney with his credentials and experience vs a populist lifer PP. Let's see, comes from a poor family but was smart enough to go to Goldman Sachs, bank governor in 2 countries and now Brookfield. Instead of recognizing his talents he's labelled as a WEF globalist from looney right wing media.
Show me an example where a multi-billionaire businessman came in and fixed a state/country.
Every move this guy has ever made is for personal gain.

the bc liberals are the ones who had the chance to do something about housing costs and chose to do nothing instead, despite cries to put in vacancy taxes, foreign buyers taxes, etc.. they only announced the foreign buyers tax on the eve of their demise. basically they did nothing and allowed the snowball to roll down the hill, and it's been unstoppable ever since. at least with the ndp we have the foreign buyers tax, airbnb ban, vacancy tax, speculation tax, etc... none of these measures were even considered preemptively back in crusty's day, despite many calls for them.
The other "banner achievement" that the Crusty Clark gov managed to do is turning a blind eye to all that casino money laundering.
And then there is the $1.3B ICBC dumpster fire debt/deficit that her Liberals left us with as well.
Also how fucking stupid do you have to be that you go in intending to vote AGAINST the Liberals, then look down at your ballot and not even see a Liberal candidate on it

nah the logic is pretty easy to follow.
A cranky old bitch arrives at the voting place with an axe to grind against turd.
Bitch looks down on the ballot and doesn't see Liberal on there and instead some shit about BC United.
It sounds a bit too communist to her so shes is like FUCK THAT
Then she saw only the NDP and the Conservatives. NDP reminds her of that raghead Jagmeet so shes like NOPE...

It's so cute when conservatives talk about the veterans and homeless to justify their disdain for refugees. Like they have ever advocated for money or housing for either of those groups.

Yea it’s way more effective just to feign interest in them.

There’s a difference between a guy from a rich family who went to boarding school and investment bank experience vs a guy that was a bank governor twice with experiences guiding a country through multiple financial crisis (2008 housing and brexit)
And brexit is a clear example not to follow populist opinions, didnt stop migrants/immigrants and fucked the UK economy.
A lot of voters are stupid - my mom (who lives in East Van) voted for the Cons and said it was because they'd make the Massey tunnel bigger (like who fucking cares?) while my brother in law (who is otherwise decently accomplished in life) didn't realise the election was a provincial one this past week.
He said it in front of me and I had to withhold my laughter and outrage that he didn't know something that seems to basic.
