Sure, $100? |
If you like, I can hold the $100 in trust till the next federal election. |

just look at the federal election and you will see that the ndp won every riding. however federal could be different because it will lean even harder to the right due to the popularity of the conservatives. you really can't be too certain. sorry i dont know what i was smoking when i wrote this. meant to say in the provincial election the ndp won every riding in burnaby |

Essentially ignorant people who don’t balance reality with rumour , which is how I feel my riding has kept NDP around for so long. I think by the time the fed election rolls around people in thay south Burnaby riding will be seeing the effects of increase drug use, homelessness, and crime (which, according to Reddit seems rampant in this riding) if they haven’t already, Metrotown looking like the DTES in spots. So I think it’s going to be a tall task to ask Jagmeet to hold onto the seat the way thing are going. Especially with the cons going to be pumping crime and drug use hard in their campaign. |
Since PP became the head of the Conservative Party in 2022, he's done little or nothing governmental besides heckle non-stop and campaign. He's voted with the Liberal and NDP governments on a variety of issues and asked for audits on a couple of issues. That's pretty much it. The rest of the time he's just jawing away. Quote:
Also mis-contrued?! Feds aren't patrollin the streets of Richmond ffs........... man people are so stupid, don't understand at all how the various levels of government work. |
Well.. proper bail reform at the federal level would likely put a bit of a dent in crime but yea.. feds ain’t gonna do shit when it comes to south Burnaby. |

Yup my parents voted blue because they want "those people to stop getting free drugs and get locked up in jail for 10 years" |

That means during all this time, Jagmeet was absolutely useless in moving the programs foward. Everything was within Turd and the Libs' control, and if it wasn't for the Liberals so desparately grasping for voter support because of their plight, Jagmeet wouldn't be able to claim any credit for getting his goals done. |

And now it is too late to turn this sinking Liberals shit... I mean, ship around. |
Hundreds of thousands of kids are in literal dire straights because of his guidance. I’m sure his stupid kids will be perfectly fine flying private jets and visiting mommy’s new boyfriend for the rest of their lives. You destroyed your marriage, your family name, and reputation, all to go down as one of, if not the worst PM is this countries history. Politics is nothing but ego as I said. |

Most of the boyz following politics voted NDP, even the 200-400k earners/landowners/small project developers WE're not rich enough yet to make campaign donations, maybe when we start doing really big projects/owning factories and means of production we will start voting conservative I think they're low key easier to influence lol edit: the girls did mail in ballots, they all have 1.5M apartments paid by parents lol, NDP voters styll |
I don't understand at this point what motivates Trudeau. He's not succeeding, he's disliked by almost everyone. It can't be fun being in that position? He doesn't really even have power at this point without NDP backing. I see PP is motivated by the same things guys like Elon, Peterson and Martin prince. Being queen of the summer to all the idiots. Jagmeet at least seems like he has some genuine interest in moving things forward. It's a shame the last 10 years have happened like they did, where the political arena is actually a sports arena now where it's just "I want my team to win" instead of having an actual interest in who would make their lives better, or try for that matter. What's PP gonna do when he can't bitch about leadership anymore? It's all just lipwork for power, then when he gets it, it's going to be clearly apparent he has no fucking clue what to do with it, because he's spent his entire time just complaining about problems as opposed to offering a platform of solutions. |
IMO at this point, it's too late to rebrand the party / dislike and he's the fall guy. Chrystia might've been able to go into the next election but her economic plan was deeply disliked (even within the BC NDP voting friends in the chat!) Trudy will disappear after the next election and we'll see some sort of leadership challenge it's west (Christy Clark) vs East (some Toronto or Quebec suburb MP). |
I think another hot take our chat has is... Cons path to votes was through Surrey - healthcare, tourism, etc. Very successful strategy. We think funding Surrey is a huge mistake because they refuse to upzone. Brentwood's much more relevant to us; why are we building transit and healthcare for single family homes when it's way cheaper to serve higher density areas? That said, I think Eby will announce some stuff for Surrey soon. |
I think the liberals were smart enough to move away from Freeland, if you watch the news she’s definitely fallen off almost completely in terms of her public image. It seems like they were focusing on trotting out Joly far more recently |
Melanie Joly is hot, so I'd vote for her. |
