Our politicians worries more about the wording of their speech than actually getting things done.

Do I fucking care whether or not you are speaking correctly? (Political, gramatical, moral... etc) No. I care about whether you are actually making changes in people's life.

My dad barely finished elementary school and speak as colloquial as a person can be. But he gets his shit done. Built his fortune, raised a family and kept a good social life. He has this "I don't give a fuck" attitude when actually working. He cares about things being done, and not about whether you are being nice to people.

That's the same principle I used to become the top sales in my firm back then. I didn't care whether some people get to keep their job while working 1/10 of the time they were being paid. I wanted result and just worked toward removing obstacles along the way.

Same thing with life. There is no path forward without destruction of something behind. There is no way around it. For a predator to thrive, it needs to eat its prays. For our society to move forward, we will inevitably destroy something or hurt someone. However, as we grow as a society, we try to minimize such damage to things like environment or job opportunities... etc.

Instead, our politician is so careful about everything they say that nothing gets done. Because the moment you say you are going to be taking x existing benefit to a group of people, you'd be labeled as discrimination, racist or whatever the fuck word they came up now.

There will never be solution that's perfect for everyone. Instead, we should focus on the future while spreading the sacrifice relatively even among our population or environment. As long as we know this would be beneficial in the future, that's a cost worth paying.

What he didn't know was that I also reached out to his own competitor (B) in the same city during the same trip. We ended up getting his competitor for 1/8 of the price my client was ready to offer for A and even though B was slightly under half of size of A, with the capital injection from my clients, they were able to rapidly increase in scale and they ultimately drove A out of business.

Never confuse kindness with weakness. But also never pretend kindness to be strength either.

I am not an expert but isn't the BoC dual mandate to
1. Control Inflation
2. Keep Unemployment Low

No where does it say it's job is to keep the CAD at any prescribed level.

The low Canadian dollar actually helps Employment, but can contribute negatively to Inflation. So they're in a tough spot.
