Wow, DJT is the ultimate troll... |
Yeah, you can picture his team giggling away tucked between McDonalds wrappers and lines of coke. Oh, they are so clever! Time to own the libs! :alonehappy: |
Well he’s literally shitting on JT.. so it seems like it’s working pretty well |
DId you guys see that Trump launched a perfume and cologne called FIght! Fight! Fight!??? And then he went to the Notre Dame thing and sat there talking to Jill Biden of all people.. and his media team took the photo of them talking to together and turned it into an ad for his cologne saying that it even attracts your enemies!!! He already won and just can't stop. https://pyxis.nymag.com/v1/imgs/189/...rfume.w710.png |
As much of an ass he is, if he keep the American stonks + BTC great over the next 4 years I can't really complain. :notbad: |

I'd be more insulted if he liked our prime minister |
Elon probably has more pull than JT on the world scale at this point. More people probably see his tweets on a daily basis than have ever even heard Turd speak. There’s never been a point in this countries history where people are litterally clowning on the PRIME MINISTER of this country. Openly mocking him for the world to see. Someone please elaborate on the point of the liberals retaining power at this point. This is such detriment to every single citizen of Canada if he can blow Jagmeet and remain PM for another year. The guy couldn’t even get giving out free money right. Please, for the love of god, call an election. We are a laughing stock. The thing is, you drove a wedge between socially moderate people ages ago who now are completely checked out. And now, at this point, you’re such an embarrassment you’re getting your own constituency to HATE you. We are going down a road that is going to be incredibly hard to recover from. |
I would love Trudeau to be gone, but using Elon as a measure of that is fucking retarded. If idiots wouldn't keep talking about him like he provides some sort of value then he wouldn't have the pull he does. By all means though, use the incel overlord as some sort of metric for what's good or bad. The whole world has gone down a road no one can recover from, and it's nothing to do with governments, it's because so much of the general public is so fucking stupid. |

Alberta is first province to come up with a US Border Security Plan. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calga...plan-1.7408043 Regardless of what you think about our border, whether it is an issue or not, you have to be impressed with Trump saying 'Jump' and others responding with 'How high?'. Guy hasn't even taken office yet and he's got Canada working feverishly on our border security. |

I get that you hate Trudeau but thinking Leons opinion of him actually matters is pretty sad, even by your standards. |
If, and this a big IF, a federal election is called now, and PP Boy and the Cons form the next government, would there a big change in terms of respect from Trump/Cheeto towards Poilievre? Although PP Boy would be a big unknown to Trump as a newly elected PM, is there anything that the Cons can do to protect Canada's economy from American tariffs AND get some respect from the US government and Trump as a country? Would PP Boy be just another Yes man to Trump? Cheeto just calls him Governor PP instead of PM PP? :lawl: Garfield could just keep calling PP Boy as "Governor" and Canada as a "great state". |
My take: Ppl blaming Trudeau but this shit is structural - for 2-3 decades our only industries were natural resource & housing. Oil prices plummeted in 2015 so that left housing/education to keep the economy going. IMO we need to fix net exports which starts with improving cost structure (so expensive to produce in Canada). 1) Invest in infra so we lower marginal cost of production; key inputs are transport and energy -> Need better rail for transporting goods to people; better ports innovation like Singaproe 2) Go ham on hydro / small nuclear / every piece of running water to make Canada green data centers for future of AI 3) Provide certainty in biz environment to attract investment, esp with tariff uncertainty 4) Go ham on raw earth approvals - nat gas, fracking, LNG, etc. 5) Process more locally - no way we'll have oil sands processing but what about lumber? 6) Only smart move gov made so far was attract auto manufacturing/EV investment - UAW plants in US are cooked. 7) Unrelated but municipalities MUST upzone and increase property taxes on SFH - cost of providing infrastructure in such a vast place nearly bankrupted Guelph and makes it far more expensive to provide services whether it's medical, transport, eudcation, etc. It robs us of our ability to invest in anything beyond basic service. |

It's not gonna change under PP unless we magically start producing resources the US gaf about. Trump will say something like "pierre, very nice man. very nice career politician. believe me, we are going to drain the swamp and if Canada were a 51st state, that swamp would be drier than the Sahara desert." |

Canada has very little leverage with the U.S. Stop export of critical minerals to the U.S? That would be stupid. We need that American money. Jobs are created from the mining of critical minerals. We hear the TV ads from PP Boy with his slogans. "Let's Bring It Home, Let's Bring It Home". Well, what would the Conservatives bring home to Canada? |
US trade war with China is actually good - they gonna need Canada for rare earth/minerals. Trade war with US ... would this get the ports to accept some automation? Canada real estate tanking also good, capital will need to go into other things that get spent/flow faster (like tech and natural resource extraction n shit if the gov gets its act together) IMO we have no coherent leadership at federal level. I voted Singh because at least changing the expense structure via daycare/medicare/whatever gets lower class spending and they have high velocity of money unlike wealthier fucks like me who just hoard cash |
Well, if the U.S. will be more dependent on Canada for critical minerals, the rare earth mineral stuff, because of China's export ban on their critical minerals, Canada should be charging a higher price for exports to the U.S. We are not giving our resources away for pennies to the Americans! |
