Give me a source he’s worth a hundred billion, maybe the market cap of brookfield’s subsidaries. Too much rebel news. Out of touch? He grew up in edmonton in a regular family but had the talent to go to harvard. Was also appointed as bank of canada governor by the messiah stephen harper of the conservatives |

https://globalnews.ca/news/10915723/...cking-suspect/ So the suspect made it across the US BORDER looks like their border security needs work too. It's CBP officers involved in this. Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk |
By the way, trying to argue turd lowered the national debt and hang your hat on that is absolutely insane as, as of sept 2024, the national debt was doubled during the liberals reign of terror, and Turd had single handledly taken on more debt than all PM’s before him combined https://financialpost.com/opinion/tr...bled-down-debt https://i.imgur.com/hcNdnBl.jpeg Again.. for all that debt, you’d think people could have clean water and FOOD :lol Debt to GDP is also the highest it’s ever been in this countries history. But heyyyyyy… the child care benefit! |

Honda, you're an outdoor guy from my understanding, the bolded alone should make anyone jump for joy in this country if you value public access to the outdoors. I'll say it again, Texas for this is an absolute nightmare. This state sold its public land many moons ago to private parties, the result is little to no public access to nature, lack of public parks, and expensive access to the few that remain in this state. This is fundamental conservative ideology that the Cons would love to roll out in Canada, privatize everything, sell everything crown to their crony buddies. Meanwhile people like you will jump up and down welcoming the proverbial ass fucking. |

The irony is real. |
So the federal labour minister is slamming things down with the back-to-work hammer, but it doesn't feel like any of CP's problems are solved. They are still uncompetitive becos their costs are still too high. No weekend deliveries. Staff are not happy bcos they are being ordered back to work. Union is not happy because they didn't score any wins. Most important of all, CP has lost their most lucrative Christmas season, as well as their most supportive small business clients. Everybody is losing except the private carriers. FailFish |
Don't forget to buy your Christmas trees tomorrow but no decorations and play your new PS5 while you drink your tax free alcohol. :lawl: |

It’s not like you’re gonna see the Telus hot springs 6 hours east of Prince George. I’ve been an active member of the BC wildlife federation for 3 decades and I’d think while they commend the efforts to protect habitat and forests, I don’t think they are overly thrilled with much of the legislation that has come down their way either. You’re never gonna please everyone, but let’s face it, even the most staunch liberal supporter thinks Turd has done a shit job and should go. |

I don't like the man but can't rly entirely blame Trudeau for pandemic spending, resource extraction and infrastructure failures we both agree on. Would be a miracle if some genius managed to sell Canadians on upzoning, the loss of single family home and property investment 'dream', transit/high speed rail, and loss of union jobs at ports for automation. |
lol I love that fucking Les Amis, a fucking CHEESE shop needs TWO security guards now Love this |

lol look at comparable countries Poland, Spain, Sweden, etc etc. Countries with more people have a fraction of our debt. Crazy guess they didn’t go through Covid? Countries with better access to healthcare and lower cost of living, wild, I guess they know something we don’t hehe The states debt is almost irrelevant because their GDP is so high, their GDP is almost 100 times ours. They could claw their way out of almost any debt eventually. Our GDP is -nothing- we have nothing to provide to pay down debt. |

Sweden's pension funds even let the fed gov withdraw from them to pay down debt. Poland has the advantage of cheap labour that other EU countries take invest in to take advantage of. Sweden and Spain's economy are kinda fucked - 2k income a month in Spain is considered pretty rich. |
Jesus, Swedish tax rates: Sales Tax: 24% Marginal tax rate: 59% tax at 50k Corporate tax: 21% vs 16% in Canada If change our tax to match Sweden we go from 90B deficit to 200B surplus: Sales: +50B revenue Income: +210B Corp: +23B Their economy is cooked: Unemployment: 25% higher relative (8%) REtail Sales: down 8% YoY Stock Exchange: 7% YTD growth (vs 30% in Canada) They don't rly spend more than us Health: Same % of budget, 1.5k more per capita Defense: Same % of budget Education: 13% is 2% higher than Canada, double per capita - 4k instead of 2.3k We would have 0 debt in 7.5 years if we taxed like Sweden lol |
