Kevin O'Leary is a smug asshole who's literally a nobody but acts like he's the Canadian version of Elon Musk. One day he's hawking crypto; the next, he's claiming to build data centres.
Speaking of this O'Leary con man, he has been openly begging on Fox News to have Trump invite him to Mar-a-Lago to propose some BS pipe dream where 99% of Canadians would lose, but he and some of his 1% friends will win big.
When I heard this latest BS of his, I dunno if I wanted to puke more, or if I wanted to bash his face in more. All 41M Canadians want him to represent them to talk to Trump? To propose a fxxking union of some sort? (Complete with a unified passport too.) Who da hell does he think he is?! As bad as Turd is, at least he had an official mandate from Canadians 3+ years ago...

Weeks after the sale, CFRA produced a critical report on Mattel, claiming TLC was already experiencing collapsing revenue, a surge in receivables and a deterioration of operating cash flow. In the third quarter of 1999, Mattel expected profits of $50 million from the TLC division. When Mattel revised that estimate to a loss of between $50 million and $100 million, the announcement wiped out more than $2 billion in shareholder value in one day, as the company's share price slid from nearly $17 to $11.69. The actual divisional loss for the quarter turned out to be $105 million; the next quarter, the loss was $206 million.

Unfortunate it dragged out so long. He's effectively tanked the party. I don't blame him entirely as he's been scapegoated for so many global issues that are in no way his fault, however, the hubris he's shown by clinging to power has handed the election to peepee.

Wokism (yes that's a word they used) caused racism. 30 years ago "no one saw colour" in Toronto and no one was racist because of it.
Trickle down economics is back. Less taxes and permits for builders means homes will be cheaper cause those developers are always quick to pass on the savings to Canadian homebuyers!
Lower taxes for businesses means they will pay their workers more.
The anti abortion groups advertising during it was cute too.

You see it in provincial politics. By having close election Eby knows his feet are to the fire and you have to be more moderate in your approach and actually address issues the people who vote for the other side are concerned with.

Electoral reform may have helped in leveling the playing field for smaller parties to get a seat in parliament but… oh yea crazy.. yet another broken promise? Which ultimately will fuck them now in the next election.
The vast majority of people are ignorant, and misinformed. However, there are enough intelligent people who will be voting conservative next election because they will feel like they have no other choice. This is the position the liberals have forced upon people.
If it makes my life better, I’m all for it because this bullshit that the liberals were the party for everyone was very clearly not true. It wasn’t really for anyone.
