It's gonna suck for everyone when Trudeau becomes the second worst in a few months.
But hey anything to stick it to woke right?

Hondaracer dude you keep saying everyone / always / never
Speaking in totalities doesn't make them truer... just speak for yourself, only those weirdo right wingers post up 1 example of something and say "WORLD GONE TO SHIT" or act like it happens every moment of every day.

So if he quits? Will they even have time to throw someone else on? Don't they have to vote a new leader? But then jagameats says he will vote them down by the end of Jan?

The news cycle is saying Turd will resign some time before this coming Wed.
Should have bowed out gracefully back in Aug 2023 using his divorce as the perfect cover. Now he is be forever labelled as the worst PM in Canadian history.

I'd actually be interested in seeing MacLean's do another ranking of Prime Ministers. It's easy to piss on the current guy and call him the worst but time tends to soften things up. Of the ones that were ranked amongst the worst in 2026, is Justin definitely worse than ALL of them?

He might have to talk about *gasp* his own policies… which should be impossible because he has zero that make any sense, but I’m sure he will find a way by just saying he’s going to fix everything but never how.

Canadians are about to learn that there wasn't jack shit he could do about most of the major problems coming out of covid, and if anything things could only possibly be worse.
Guess we'll find out after the election if people actually follow through on the threats they're making in the polls. Hopefully most of the PP support is just anti-Trudeau sentiment showing through.

I don't give a crap, i do understand and feel the pressure.
what's going to suck is to FIND people to participate in leading local Liberal candidates and thinking they can win.
Good freaking luck.
I don't know which party / gov't I can stand behind after learning / understanding politicals last decade...
RIP treadeau, you were refreshing when harper was just weird at the end, it happens when you're leading at a time when it's the end...
Now he can go back on tinder / grinder and live a normal life LOL
let's see how he's gong to resign
Want to see who's brave enough to step up THINKING they can win.

Mark Carney has been making the rounds and calls with all the Liberal elites, I somewhat expect him to throw his hat in
Freeland probably will too but she's deeply unpopular in the public despite a lot of her peers seemingly thinking she's solid. I feel mixed on her, she's said some really tone deaf things but Trump hates her so she can't be that bad.

Trudeau has announced his resignation as Liberal leader and will stay on as PM until the election. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/cana...ss-his-future/

He goes out blaming the lack of electoral reform on other parties. Typical fucking clown.
Bye bye, no one is going to miss you
The fact that the only thing he can hang his hat on is supporting Ukraine says everything you need to know. Had two weeks and couldn’t come up with anything else lol

Turd rides off on his high horse with his big fat pension.
I wondered how much Turd gets in terms of pension when he turns 65.
Currently, PP Boy gets more than $230,000 in annual pension as the official opposition leader.
Turd would much more than $230,000. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/poi...ingh-1.7326152

So his plan is to ask GG to prorogue government till Mar 24. I guess that is so Libs can have a leadership race. Then as soon as parliament resumes in late March, vote of non-confidence from opposition, Libs are defeated, then election. Not sure if that is fair to drag it out that long or if GG will grant that. I hope not. I'd say, resume government in Jan and let them face the music asap.
If GG does, then we have to sit in limbo till like April/May.

My point about Turd's pension is that regardless of the pension amount and which party you vote for in the upcoming federal election, Canadians are on the hook to pay Turd even if many Canadians hate him.
Turd is laughing all the way to the bank at our expense.

If GG does, then we have to sit in limbo till like April/May. | If whoever comes in as Liberal leader can blow jagmeet hard enough there won’t even be a non-confidence vote. That’s the point in dragging this out. So we could be almost a year into Trumps presidency with yet another lame duck PM governing Canada until the election can be formally called.

Should federal politicians be ineligible for a pension? We seem to be pretty butt hurt about it.

I think feds should get a good pension, however they should be barred from working in the private sector of any businesses that any policies or permits issued while in office could possibly benefitted from.
