If I never have to listen to some blonde haired ol' bitch from North Vancouver spend five minutes trying to correctly pronounce some random tribe's land acknowledgement to kickoff a corporate webinar meeting, it won't be long enough.

"We are on unceded territory!!!"
"OK give us our land back"
"Fuck off!!!"

I have to applaud the squamish nation building those massive towers by kitsilano ignoring all the protests from the whities.

I had a govt. official at work in a meeting fumble through the most brutal land acknowledgement I’ve ever heard as they were one some unceded bla bla bla lands of some bands no one had ever heard of

This person actually ends up saying “or whatever” at the end

I literally typed in the teams chat “well at least we’re taking these seriously”

Eventually this loses all meaning.

Badhobz 01-10-2025 04:02 PM

Honda wanna throw around blankets again full of new strain COVID just to stop these land acknowledgements.

Hondaracer 01-10-2025 04:03 PM

If you want your land back, come take it back from me

Anyone hear PP's comments about the liberal leadership race? Why's he trying to be a rapper and throwing in wordplay and zingers when they are obviously not hitting?

He kept going on along the lines of "Justin... Tru.. deau" "they are all Just.... like him" "They are all Just..... in... Trudeaus...." lol wtf

68style 01-11-2025 07:24 AM

It's cuz of what we said earlier, he doesn't know how to do anything but attack Trudeau... he's struggling now... he only talks in slogans and whimsical nostalgic sayings. Zero actual content.

whitev70r 01-11-2025 07:44 AM

^ did you mean PP or Honda? Or both?

JDMDreams 01-11-2025 08:53 AM

So did he say how he's gonna bring home the bring homes? How you can get a job in your 20s and buy a house? He said he's gonna make houses cheaper. How do? Release the homeless in West Van?

"Commonsense conservatives"
"Trudeau Tax"
"Axe the tax"
"Build the Homes"
"Looney Liberals"

This guy takes all the pages of the Trump book with empty slogans and rhetoric, it's one of the major things I can't stand about this blowhard bastard.

He's so fucking unlikable. Can't believe we're going to have to see this fucker's face in power for at least 4 years, completely undeservedly on his part.

JT sucked, but PP has not earned his spot in the slightest.

unit 01-11-2025 09:37 AM

hes gonna spend the entire 4 years blaming trudeau for all his failures, i guarantee it.

westopher 01-11-2025 09:42 AM

We are gonna fix the economy, housing prices and health care
1 year in "WE CANT FIX IT TURD FAULT AXE TAX BRING HOME" *steam starts coming out ears*

Gong show of Christy Clark has started. Questions were posed to her in an interview whether she was a member of the Federal Cons party, she denied it, asked reporter to find record of her membership. Even accused the Cons that she wouldn't put it pass them to 'manufacture' a record of her membership.

CivicBlues 01-11-2025 10:31 AM

So who are you guys voting for in your ridings? I have half a mind to just book a vacation and get out of the country this spring to avoid voting this time around. Sorry 25 years of voting, I just can't in good conscious vote for any of these fucks.

Hondaracer 01-11-2025 10:32 AM

We seem like we’re in a really good spot in federal politics.. much hope for the future.. lol

Anyone is better than Jenny Kwan, sack of shit liar, crook. However people are too dumb to even look into her numerous transgressions in the past so I feel like she’ll likely get re-elected. Feel like throwing a fucking brick through her offices window the dumb bitch

CivicBlues 01-11-2025 10:36 AM

Hedy Fry is probably just a reanimated corpse a la Weekend at Bernies at this point. She'll probably still win by a landslide though.

She's such trash. Like are we having an election or least likeable person in Canada competition? Her and PP would definitely make sense as finalists in that case.

Manic! 01-11-2025 11:28 AM

ABC anything but conservative.

Don't forget the first 6 months where they also claim credit for anything positive, even through it was set in motion by the previous government.

Hondaracer 01-11-2025 11:50 AM

Doesn’t matter if they are the scary conservatives or not, any incoming govt. does that.

JDMDreams 01-11-2025 01:35 PM

So is carbon tax gonna go away?

68style 01-11-2025 02:05 PM

Christy Clark's highlight reel:

https://pressprogress.ca/here_are_41...premier_of_bc/

Can't believe people used to call her milfy :suspicious:

mikemhg 01-11-2025 03:05 PM

Where does CC think she has support? She's a BC politician universally hated in this province, where does she think she'd get support in the rest of the country?

The fact that she can even pretend she's trying to run head for the Liberal party just shows you how much the party itself has fallen into complete disarray.

If anything it even feeds to the conspiracy folks that all these parties are essentially the same shit, with a different paintjob of red or blue.

MG1 01-11-2025 10:13 PM

Melanie Joly.......... my god, :yuno:

I'd love to see her as PM of our country.

Stop being the Foreign Affairs Minister and be the Prime!

Save the party, save the country........... at least she'll be good eye candy.
