There's actually 38 liberal MPs not running for reelection, so the army of clowns isn't really the same. Carney will also likely appoint mostly new cabinet members, and is a totally different leader with a different platform.
Will it be the same? Maybe. Will it be different? Probably. Will it be better? Hopefully.

What is there to achieve with Trump? He has already chosen to not listen to us, so no amount of further convincing on our part is going to change his mind. Pressure from his own states, governors, and staff/advisors might pursuade him to ease off on things a bit to avoid the economic impact that will be hurting the US as well, and the premiers are already doing that work. It is better off for our PM to find other means to make up for the lost revenues from the US trades since those measures might actually be useful. Easing inter-provincial trade barriers as well as fostering further cooperation with Europe are far better bets than trying to kiss Trump's stupid ring.

So 38 liberal MP’s not running again, liberals currently have a minority with 153 so say you need 160 roughly for a majority as they are adding a few seats to Parliment.
Carney doesn’t just “choose” him MP’s he has to work with who is elected in their ridings.

By the way, what happened to all that crying about the capital gains tax? And how it was a good thing and only rich people would be affected etc? And now Carney scraps that almost instantly? Certainly everyone who wasted their breathe defending that has a good excuse for the reversal no?

I am not so sure about what Carney's cabinet is gonna look like if he wins though. Personally, I don't see how LeBlanc, Joly, and Champagne would not be there. And given Carney's close personal ties with Freeland (one is the godparent of the other's children, or something like that?), I would also expect Freeland to remain in the cabinet. I seem to think McGuinty was tasked to help with Carney transitioning into his PM role, and he has pledged his support for Carney during the leadership race. So I would also think that he is gonna stay on.
Those are already 5 big names carried over from the Turdeau era, and I would expect them (except for Freeland) to continue taking up important roles. Even Freeland's "current" role as internal trade minister is pretty important, since that is one of the key promises Carney has made to clear up the interprovincial trade barriers.
So how different is Carney's cabinet really gonna be? It's a bit worrying, if you ask me, cuz critics will just accuse it to be the same as what we had with Turd.

Carney was born in NWT to a principal and a stay at home mother, then made money as an investment banker. PP came from humble beginnings as well, and has made his money via taxpayers, to essentially accomplish nothing in those 21 years other than complaining. Living every conservative voters dream.

Make no mistake, violence against healthcare workers has increased, and it's awful, but this is hardly a Trudeau problem. The last 5 years I would blame basically every provincial government for this issue as a huge portion of these incidents are directly correlated with hospital crowding and wait times. The drug epidemic also wasn't an issue in that time frame, which doesn't seem to be solved by a right wing government in the US.

If you have wealth, status, and social capital, the harsh realities faced by the lower class often seem distant. Those at the top rarely concern themselves with the struggles of those at the bottom... it's just how the system works.
I’ve had a taste of financial freedom. At one point making $24,000 in a single month of a 15 year streak of easy money. It’s not true elite wealth, but enough to glimpse what life is like when you’re not tied to a 9-5 grind. Having substantial money in the bank, no job, and no financial worries is a completely different reality than living paycheque to paycheque. Many who come into money just reinvest it into another house and keep their lives structured around work, but for those with real wealth, or YOLO Chads like me, the concerns of everyday people barely register.
And, trust me, when I quit porn and went back into the real world, worked my way up to an easy 100k again, all to lose that new budding life during COVID for refusing the bullshit "vaccine", and now, again rebooting my life with the power of AI and porn instead of staying a low-class, minimum wage job worker, I can tell you from such an authentic place... the lower class people are complete fucking slaves.
Take healthcare, for example. If you're rich, you don't wait in line, you go to the U.S. for the best specialists. If you're barely scraping by in Canada, you’re stuck with whatever the system can provide, and that’s often not enough.
Look at professional athletes. A hockey player making millions per year has a loyal wife, widespread admiration, and financial security. Politics doesn’t matter to them because their lives aren’t affected in the same way as the working class. Politics exists to keep the 9-5 workforce content with small tax breaks and fuel discounts while the real power brokers stay above it all.
If you’re in a position where you don’t need to work much but still make good money, and you’re disgusted with how our society treats vulnerable people... consider supporting art and artists.
I expected someone to post this video, but no one did. The only reason I even care about politics is that I came dangerously close to overdosing on fentanyl myself. My dealer died the same week I quit because I found out I was going to be a father. That could’ve been me. I'd be fuckin' dead if I didn't shoot that magic load.
I've been given more chances than I deserve, and I know many others haven’t been as lucky. The opioid crisis is devastating communities while politicians give empty speeches about democracy and diversity, ignoring the suffering happening right in front of us.
Notice no politician in the race is talking about helping young men secure housing to start families?
Because they know they can replace you.
Is anyone hammering on the fentanyl deaths that have killed over 50k people since Trudeau took power?
Of course not. They were young, mostly male, and they used drugs. The system considers them a rounding error. They're trash and we import 10 jumbo-jets of people. Every. Single. Day.
Life is cheap as fuck in Canada, and, I guarantee you, Mark or Little PP do not give a shred of a single fuck of the bodies stacked from fentanyl. The system is simply purging losers that would otherwise be a burden on the system when we can import unlimited Rajeshes from India.
