The ship has sailed on climate change, we've collectively decided as a society that we don't really care. Drill baby drill and all that crap, we're humans, we'll run this thing until the wheels fall off. It'll be interesting what happens in the future to the insurance and reinsurance markets though. A lot of places insurers now refuse to insure for fires and floods, I'm curious as that trend continues how that'll affect housing and housing stability. |
You never know, someone might come up with a way to fix things |
If they did half the population would just call it woke and riot over it. |
Fake libtard scan! Mind virus! Elite suppressionism! |
Surely someone using tax havens to avoid its investors and himself paying taxes IN CANADA will ultimately be truthful about his own assets https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.7493419 If you’re chairing a board of a fund worth 25 billion dollars.. let’s see your assets. I know some people locally who chair very high profile boards not worth even a fraction of these types of numbers and they are all worth 10-50 million because they are there because their business acumen. Buddy is the same as every other sack of shit. |

https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canad...d=BingNewsSerp What do you think... he'll get 2-3 years for killing a terrified 17 year old kid? Mintenko is due back in court on April 10 to set a date for sentencing. |
Of course he’ll get off with a slap on the wrist My example at least has numerous layers to the egregious abuse of our system with the perpetrators laughing in the faces of the system. Imagine you paid ransom only for your son to be murdered, and the guy who murdwres him is living in a penthouse paid for with money from the random :lol At least it was an international student. |

To be fair I'm using it ironically. |
https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbn...ots6exg7y@jpeg Federal Polling: LPC: 50% (+17) CPC: 35% (+1) NDP: 7% (-11) BQ: 4% (-4) PPC: 2% (-3) GPC: 2% (-) EKOS / March 25, 2025 / n=1495 / MOE 2.4% / IVR EKOS has generally been the most optimistic about the Liberals' numbers BUT other polls seem to catch up with them a week later. |

The entire Canadian culture is soaked in the Liberal party culture. They won the battle for hearts and minds and it should be so obvious to everyone. People who resist the system in 2025 are total pariahs while people who embraced the system are the landlords, business owners, people working at the top of the institutions, media, government, arts, etc etc etc. Young people are beyond fucked, but the young don't vote, they already know it's over, and the best they can hope for is a fat inheritance. |

Anyway, there are so many ridings around here that can potentially get vote-split, including my own. Guess we'll see what happens. Just because a majority by overall numbers may vote a certain way, we can never tell what will happen in each riding. |

If anything your oblivious takes on Israel are what are highlighted here. Our glorious leadership backed the genocide of an entire people, when I question the motives of murdering a hundred thousand women and children because less than 1% of our population is represented by our “allies” it’s not anti semitism, it’s calling out the system as it is constructed here lol… You’ve never once actually constructed a counter argument other then “well what else should Canada do?!?!” How about not send the components of war to kill women and children? Not fund an unjust race war? :lol It’s easier to just drop buzz words than have a constructive dialogue on something you clearly don’t understand. |
I can't believe I'm mediating here. You know skinny isn't supportive of weapons going to Israel or a Zionist. There's a difference between calling out a genocide and going down the "Jews control America" rabbit hole as well. The world isn't black and white, the problem with these discussions always ends up being that someone has to come in that doesn't understand nuances. |
One people matter even though they make up a fractional percentage of this country, they are more important to people in charge than the others who frankly, don’t matter at all. Pretty much what it boils down to. Trudeau ain’t out there saying we’re all arabs |

It’s better some other homeless person if randomly stabbed over our family members, frankly it’s better that law enforcement is attacked VS your wife, mother, sister etc. if that’s what it shakes down to. The one and only bright side of how pathetic our justice system is that hopefully if you ever killed someone who broke into your home, your sentence would be a light one. As we’ve seen though even killing a cop doesn’t change anything ie. homeless man in tent (Const. Yang) |
Carbon tax ending April 1st in BC. Anyone wanna bet the price of gas won't drop by 16 cents next month? :lol We're all gullible idiots. |
