:lol If you think teachers are getting into the profession to “better the community” bra.. come on. This isn’t to say PP is any better or worse, but defending JT based on his teaching career and that somehow merits running a country? lol nah. |
Man that's a sad way at looking at the world Honda, such a cynic :lol Many teachers go into the profession wanting to help kids, it's widely considered a selfless profession, if you don't believe that, I don't know what to tell you man. You ignored my Obama comment, the EXACT same argument was levied at him for taking his path. It's a completely incredulous argument in my opinion. |
I still haven't seen a PeePee supporter come in here and argue why the guy wants to be PM, and not get his security clearance, the bare minimum requirement for the job IMHO. That level of clearance isn't just a simple check, they investigate you, and everyone you associate with, why is PeePee afraid of that? |

Gas prices tend to increase around spring when low RVP season begins. It has been like this every year for decades. |

He also had to rise through a completely different system in the states where he could have failed or been dropped dozens of times but proved his worth. Becoming a state senator is infinitely more complicated and difficult than just sitting in a red riding and putting a familiar name on the ballot. Do police get into the profession to better the community? Do firefighters get into it to save lives? Or is it a comfortable profession with great benefits and a golden pension? Some absolutely do, but I’d say in general it’s the same as teachers, the majority do it because it suits their lifestyle. |
No one has come to that defence of the line you guys were towing previously that it’s a “completely different cast of characters” for the liberals after I did the basic math (does this make me qualified to be PM?!?) that shows at most, the liberal caucus will change less than a quarter of its MP’s if they were to get a majority. Anything less in terms of a minority or an opposition govt. would mean even less than that would be changed. So… yea.. where’s the new cast of characters coming from? Especially at the top in the most important roles. Please elaborate. |
For the gas pricing there’s always a price bump when They switch from winter to summer blends . Not sure if this is time of year or not but you could probably look at it it pretty quick. The easiest way I would assume to see if the carbon tax was in play here would be to compare the spread before /after the announcement of the removal of this tax between somewhere that doesn’t have this tax ( maybe Washington though I think they have this tax too) . You’d prob also need to adjust for exchange rates . In terms of motivation to take a job…why are we thinking there is only one possibly motivation? Either you want a nice lifestyle or you want to give back to the community etc . We are all intelligent enough here to understand there are multiple motivations for a career. |
When your wealth would allow you to never have to work in order to live an upper class lifestyle, what’s your motivation? |

I went into policing under the auspices of bettering the community, I had the wide eyed ignorance of going after bad guys. I quickly realized that's not how it worked in the slightest. I think you're wrong in thinking many going into teaching don't have the ideals of wanting to help kids learn. There might be a bit of a lifestyle element (although I've rarely heard that). You know how much overtime teachers have to put in without being paid? That's not much of a "lifestyle". There is a reason we have a teaching shortfall, which is only getting worse. |
Well, it’s moot anyways to argue about clown boi any longer anyway. He’s off flying PJ’s and living better than us. On to the next nightmare |
Doe anyone even know what JT's net worth really is? |
https://i.imgur.com/adFn5L0.png Latest projections have the Liberals winning a majority with 190 seats. Only Alberta and Sask vote Conservative, even BC has tipped into Liberal territory. The NDP are basically blown off the map with just 6 seats. CBC is now reporting the same news Global was reporting yesterday about the Cons' campaign being in disarray: https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/con...arty-1.7497029 Vote wise, the Cons are only polling about 3-6 points behind but their vote distribution is very different - they are super concentrated in Alberta (and Sask and parts of BC) so they need to beat the Liberals by 3-6 points just to be even on seats so they have around a 6-8 point deficit to make up. |
Love to see it. The slide we're seeing from the Cons in such a short time is really unprecedented in modern politics. Having the light on PeePee has been a disaster. |

https://youtu.be/8SwlV6sLGRg?si=D2b86h4Z6S_9tkpJ A bit long at 25 mins but a panel discussion with former insiders from each major party talking about how things are going with the Cons. Key points: - Trump's the opponent, not Carney. Why are the Cons wasting time on Carney when they should be saying how PP will be the best person to stand up to Trump? - The Cons need to address Trump head on, Trump is the story of the day every day so you have to speak to it every day as it otherwise drowns out whatever it is that Cons want to talk about. - The Cons have been saying the same thing for the last couple years (cut taxes, deregulate, fight crime) even though the stakes have changed. - The Cons antagonistic relationship with the press leading to them not being able to get the message out. Not allowing reporters on the plane means they can't follow the campaign effectively and that the Cons can't respond quickly either (the press aren't present). |

Just imagine being that brainwashed. Here's the TRUE TAKE on Canadian politics: 1. WokeScene has never ben happier to have a globalist elite banker in charge of the country to make sure we "make it through the crisis" and is guaranteed to fuck over the little guy for who pulls his puppet strings. But because WokeSceners are all-in on the Canadian Liberal orthodoxy, this is the best case scenario. 2. ConScene is tripping over themselves to support Little PP, the career politician nerd with zero real-world experience. He's already set for life... why would he even really care? Meanwhile the guns get grabbed, the vaccines forced on workers, woke shit everywhere... and crickets from the cons. Because they are the fake, controlled opposition party. Why do you think young people never show up to con events? Because they have lost the hearts and minds of the young, where Liberals and Progressives feed into the woke culture, which is what young people buy into because there is hardly any other culture left to participate in. 3. People like myself sit back and laugh because both of the above sides are voting for the establishment and, if you want change, it's never going to come from a vote. |

WokeScene VS ConScene Who will win? Since both sides are standing by the lies of the COVID "vaccine" and the entirely exaggerated pandemic to enrichen the oligarchs in control of society... No matter who you vote for. We all lose. https://i.ibb.co/Y4WHWPXH/2c5a4d0b-a...595c10a624.png |

During 2014-2016 I had a few good conversations with people and started digging more into the history of medicine. My new in-laws are both specialist doctors, so many times I got to hear interesting medical stories over the years first hand. Hearing candid talk from doctors who I had a child with their daughter, my interest in drugs and things like the history of medicine grew. I had never really read about the lobotomy yet at that point, and had only assumed that medicine was this noble craft where only the most good and caring people got into it. And think, back then, in 2014, who were the anti-vaxxers? They were the flat earth, far-out, living in a van shitting behind the music festival and climbing over the fence to get in. There was a growing crossover with hipsters at the time, but not until 2015-2016 did the cultural walls fall and, with that, an influx of new ideas. I'm trying to remember what year it is, but I got in a brawl with some stinky hippies I think in 2013, so I had a raging hard-on to hate on early 2010's granola-hipsters. Once all of the cocaine became poisoned and tons of people I knew started dying, life kicked me in the balls and I started wondering more about the history of drugs and the medical industry as a whole. Just what was fentanyl and why did it get in all of the party drugs? "Primum non nocere" The medical oath, you start from there, and you can find plenty of books, knowledge, and information on what early doctors went through, the traditional treatments for illnesses, and even take some time to study basic biology. The intricate mechanisms of the cells in our body, absolutely wild shit. Then learn about these huge corporations and their processes for studying drugs. They 100% experiment on prisoners, the stuff that has been done in the name of science is fucking insane. Then you start reading about shit like "Unit 731" in Japan... Armed with the knowledge I have now, I could bust up Multicartual's low-information post and slap him around like a $10 hooker. That guy was so drunk on pussy all the time that he only came up for air to brag about how easy things were! So many things in life we take for granted thinking that most human beings are good and that nobody is motivated enough by money to lie and betray large groups of people simply to advance in life. https://media.tenor.com/ZxT4FM0dYUkAAAAM/maury-well.gif |
