I'm pretty much with the majority of responses here, almost dead centre bullseye.
So much for us being the woke leftist libtards some people are accusing us of being. No one here is close to being a "leftist". I think the overton window has shifted so much that extremist views are just now tolerated as "right wing" when a few decades ago you would have been shunned and ostracized for being nazi sympathizers

Now, let's see Jason and Honda's scores!

WTF is this? I'm a leftard?! FailFish

I landed nearly the same as you, just a smidge higher. Apparently I'm basically communist or something :lol

not too surprising i guess, but the questions they chose were interesting and don't really paint the whole picture of someones political ideology imo

Something's wrong. I'm an engineer, but I thought Honda said I was supposed to vote conservative?

Turns out we're not libtards we're FENCE SITTERS!!!!

supafamous 04-15-2025 02:05 PM

We can seem like Libtards here b/c the "Radical Right" is so vocal, angry, and irrational that it's hard to actually have a discussion on policy or ideas.

Hondaracer 04-15-2025 02:14 PM

Well we don’t know what you freaks do behind closed doors

I could post my pic but so similar to many of you, I ended up being a centrist, landing in one of the four inner squares where the 2 axis meet, with LPC slightly above and CPC somewhere below.

mikemhg 04-15-2025 05:03 PM

This is actually an excellent example of political psychology.

The most level minded people on this forum all seem to skew middle in the center or center-left, far from woke or "leftie".

Meanwhile one of the most extreme rightwing guys on the forum is more ideologically right than the Cons. Who is the extremist here?

I think that says a lot.

Voting other than Liberal = you are an "extreme rightwing guy."

Amazing logic there. Have you considered I purposely answered it in a way that would yield that result just for the lolz?

These two axis political compass tests are to politics what MBTI is to psychology.

You can also vote NDP or Green.

Saw this post of facebook. Had a good laugh.

My family got bad news today. The Crown prosecutor wants to lock Tamara Lich and me in prison for two years—for standing up for freedom. They also want to sieze my truck, Big Red, and crush her like she’s just scrap metal or sell it at auction.
But Big Red isn’t just a truck. She’s part of my family, and she’s part of Canadain history.
I got her in 2003, my son Jonathan, 7 monhts old, was her first passenger. My dog Buddy rode with me for a million kilometers and passed away in her seat. With 3.4 million km, Big Red carried my life’s highs and lows.
Her proudest moment was leading the Freedom Convoy in 2022, uniting Canadians for our rights.
That’s why the Liberal government wants her gone. It’s not about a vehicle—it’s about erasing hope. They want to erase the spirit of the Convoy and make an example out of us so no one ever dares to stand up again.

I would've never considered that. You've been advocating for CPC the whole time, and your result was right on top of CPC. Doesn't that actually just make sense? Why would I lolz at something you actually believe in?

I think if you rigged it into the absolute bottom right, then that would've been a laugh.

Hondaracer 04-15-2025 05:55 PM

The questions track with CBC triggers more than actual political discourse. I did it a few days ago and quickly clicked through and was slightly more right than now

Some stuff like the Monarchy, trans people in sports, govt. deficits automatically shove you to one side I’m sure.

RabidRat 04-15-2025 05:59 PM

I actually thought when I answered "absolutely fking not" to safe injection sites that it was going to stuff me in the far right. Guess that one doesn't count lol.

If you really want to you can edit the weighting of each question, which might make it slightly more accurate. Some of the questions could be thought of in multiple ways as well, on some of the topics I'd answer differently depending on what specific part of it you want to ask about. But then you're getting into a very long survey just to scoot a dot around a bit more accurately.

In the end I landed about where I would've expected. I'm curious if anyone had a completely unexpected result.
