im disappointed that in my riding (north delta) the buddy guy (who's a cop) I voted for didn't win. Seemed like a much better representation of the community (outside of race and culture).

What's going to happen in Canada, I think, is once the coddled, selfish boomer generation FINALLY goes the way of the dodo, the political landscape will open up.
Parties like the PPC will need to also get rid of their old, stale politician in Max, and get some young TikTok'er, like a Canadian AOC, someone with massive charisma and a pre-built following already who then sneaks in the back door to power like a real dark horse.
Compare how good WE had it at 18-21 years old, then compare to kids today as teens and young adults. They have it so, so, SO much worse off.
The longer Canada goes without a major shake-up of the political system and culture, the bigger the shake-up eventually is going to become.

The PPC needs someone in their 20's or 30's who is dialed into the vibe of young people. All it takes is for a charismatic leader who represents people who aren't establishment boomers. Getting rich, partying, being cool, these things transcend politics, all it takes is for someone to ride the cultural wave that will follow after the emasculization of the woke cultural inertia ebbs away.
