At least McCallum has a backbone, even if it’s for flooding the streets of surrey to turn it into Venice lol.

After the snc lavalin and blackface shit putting Wilson raybould in would have been the smartest thing the liberals could have done. Then they still would have won even if the cons had their shit together to provide any sort of threat.
Oh God, Wilson-Raybould, who as A-G pushed through the entirely unconstitutional Bill C-46?

Seems like having a Prime Minister "Karen" would get old in about 10 minutes, but that's just me.

I guess everyone forgets when harper shut down parliament for 2 months so would not have to answer questions.

https://www.google.com/search?client...own+parliament

Quote:
Prime Minister Stephen Harper has shut down Parliament for two months, killing a pesky inquiry into Afghan detainees, stalling government bills and allowing the Conservatives to take control of the Senate.

Mr. Harper called Governor-General Michaëlle Jean yesterday morning to ask her to give a Speech from the Throne on March 3 - delaying Parliament's return by 22 sitting days - and allowing the government to table a budget on March 4.

Just because it was done by someone else before doesn't make it okay.

Are you ever going to shut up about this?
I (reluctantly) put him on my ignore list weeks ago just so you would.
There's no tat coming from me, so if you'll be so inclined to keep my name from your mouth I'd appreciate that greatly.
Thanks.

It doesn't make it o.k. but the con party and its supporters can't claim the high morel ground on this. If you are upset J.T. did it you should also be upset harper did it. peter mckay was Minister of National Defence at that time harper closed the parliament.

So can I ride on the seawall again yet? Or do I still have to ride on the road up Prospect Point?

We can now park @ 3rd Beach as well starting next week?

The article is highly confusing here.

^ real men ride on the road to Prospect Point ... I'm just kidding before anyone start failing me.

But on a serious note, I don't know why anyone wants to ride on the Seawall ... it's probably more dangerous with the kiddies, pedestrians, and tourist cyclists.

Trust me, I love the ride up Prospect, ripping it down the other side to 3rd beach never gets old.

I bladed the seawall this week, and I don't know, there's something calming about riding the seawall, sun on your back, the smell of ocean water.

It's therapeutic, I don't get that same feeling on the road with a bunch of spandex wearing accountants all around me like it's the Tour De Vancouver.

WTF? Damn ... I could do it for $10M easily !!!

Liberal government to pay charity that works with Justin Trudeau’s wife at least $19.5M for grant program

OTTAWA — The federal government said Friday it will pay WE Charity at least $19.5 million to administer its new COVID-19 grant program for student volunteers, as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau defended the decision to award the contract to the Toronto-based organization that works with his wife.

Dani Keenan, a spokesperson for Diversity, Inclusion and Youth Minister Bardish Chagger, later confirmed to the Star by email that the government will pay WE Charity $19.5 million to administer the program for 20,000 volunteer placements — a figure that will increase based on how many post-secondary students and recent graduates use the program.

Shocking how many Canadians think we have term limits. Funny when they find out JT can serve more than 2 terms.

C'mon do you really have such a hard on for JT? I mean he's keeping the Ethics Commission's office busy, this is only his third time being investigated! Keeps stepping on his own shit.

Wouldn't you prefer Jody Wilson-Raybold or Chrystia Freeland as leader of the Liberal party?

I just wish we had a fiscally-responsible party that is centre-left/left-leaning on social policies using science-based decision-making.

Every party seems to be drifting further from centre.

Most people are too concerned with having preconceived dislike for the NDP to notice that.
