My dad has owned various BMWs throughout his life (currently a G30 540i), so I've been raised as a fan of that company. In fact, my initials are BMW, and so are my son's... Currently I drive a 2005 Honda Pilot and my wife drives a 2000 Honda Civic (which used to be my grandma's), so we've owned these cars for quite some time.
Back in April, I saw a new 2019 G20 330i parked so I sent him a pic just for fun. A few days later, he called me up and said, "Mom and I want to buy you a BMW". His reasoning was that since they downsized, they had a bit of extra cash, and they wanted to see their kids be happy while they were still around, rather than just leave the money as an inheritance. I can't argue with that, and who am I to turn down this offer?
Given that my realistic dream car is a M3 coupe/M4, this option was briefly discussed, but we quickly came to the conclusion that a full M car is not realistic for my daily driving and a young family of 4. I'm also not crazy about the line that goes across the hood of the current F8x cars. With a good combination of increased power (over the 330i), comfort, and sportiness, we decided upon the M340i and placed an order in April.
Fast forward to yesterday, and I picked this up:
No joke, the first time I saw my car at the delivery area was like a groom's "first look".
Thank you so much, mom and dad!

Bmw is already into the G’s? They had the E code chassis for like 50 years then they burn through F in like 9 years?

remember they used to have 3 variants of cars and now they have 79.
having an 4doorx4mxigrancoupemsportCabrioletSAVcrossovercoup ecoupe eats up the chassis codes quickly.

The X5M comp is a beast, but way too much car for me and I already have a SUV. And I don't want to spend all of my parents money, lol!

LT1? What in the sacrilegious fuck?
Unless it was born as a basic Regal and semi-cloned...
