I think he means it in a way where rather having a factory photo on his wall (cookie cutter) that everyone can have, he would rather have something that represents him and his car (art).

Coles notes:

Shop jockey drove my car (for some reason), rear-ended another car. The shop will pay for everything out of their own pocket (ICBC would have written my car off). They are literally scouring the country for parts. Some bits and pieces in AB, others in SK etc.

No telling when this is getting done. My biggest fear with an old daily driver is this...

That fender is fucked

Glass headlights too

I would've made the shop pay for the entire car bank transferred to my account or court....the challenge is on

Ironically it's going to cost them much much more to fix this car as it's going to far exceed its market value.

Not to mention they still have to deal with the car that was hit.

Helped my brother lower the EF, found JDM Linea Sport two piece wheels (staggered) with 205/50 Falken Azenis, and installed an OEM Si lip. Haven't found clear corners yet so photochopped til we find them :P

Next up is trying to save what we can of the Milano red. Can't justify a paint job right now.

Milano Red looks so good on those older Honda's. It's a shame almost all of them with the factory Milano Red is faded

Pacific Raceways in the MS3 in an insane amount of rain (two cars totaled after hitting the wall after turn 9)

Then a super hot 35 degree with 0 wind or cloud autox day in the M3. In typical german fashion, the car wouldnt start or would start then die instantly before my last run.

Racing in the rain at Pacific, how appropriate! I saw Turn 2-7 was repaved over the winter. How did you like it?

The transition from the drag to turn 1 had an odd bump that unsettled and spun a few porsches that day, otherwise the new paved areas were quite grippy in the rain on half worn PS4s. I had to go tight on turn 7 towards 8 as even my car got loose on the bump there. Some areas were repaved again between winter and early summer due to it not being smooth, mainly the transitions.

TLDR: Bumps between sections of repaving unsettling cars in the wet. Might be okay in the dry. Felt worse than when I went two years ago.

Worth the 2.5 hour drive for a HPDE day. Better for your brakes than Mission. Bonus is that there is a chick-fil-a on the way down if you go through Bellevue

Haven't done any automotive photography or just photography in general, was excited to dig out my camera underneath layers of dust after I got new wheels from cho after parting his BRZ out. Been wanting bronze RPF1s for a while now and couldn't let this opportunity pass up!

Also compared to the csx-s you had before. Since the csx was very similar to the euro CTR of that generation
