rav4 drives great. just need to get used to the startup with no noise and changing the way I drive, according to the sales rep to get more battery power out of the rav4 lol

hope i get the mazda 3 back soon. been in the body shop for almost 2 weeks and still nothing from them.

2019?
my relatives back east just ordered a MY20 non-hybrid coming in a few weeks, guess it helps being locally-made

Yup got the last of the 2019. I just regret a bit now since the 2020 will come with andriod auto but will be 700-800 dollars more. hopefully they will be able to do an update on the 2019 for andriod auto.

The non hybrids are easier to get vs the hybrids. i think when i decided on hybrid it was only about 1.5k more than the gas model, so i just went with the hybrid model.

It makes sense to get the hybrid, it's only a bit more and there's more power and better efficiency.

yep if i was set on one it'd be a hybrid, but nuh-uh aint gonna wait 3-6 months for a Canadian-built Rav4, that's crazy demand for an appliance...i might understand the hype if it were a trd pro truck brought in from japan

not sure if sales guy was just trying to nudge me along but he said some were even paying over msrp

if you get the limited model, they will have better stock vs Xse and le models in hybrid form. a lot of dealers from what i've seen is they want to push towards the gas models since they want to get rid of the stock

If it was something you wanted, why wouldn't you wait for it? Seems like most hybrid/electric vehicles have some kind of wait in BC now.

if it's a niche/performance vehicle that i've been waiting years for, i'd have no problems ordering and being a bit more patient esp if i know exactly what trim/trans/colour/trim/pkg i want

i would've stored my rwd over the winter anyways when i ordered last fall, so i didnt mind

but i don't see the point waiting that long for an ubitiquous vehicle...esp something that i want to winter in

if it were up to me and cant get mid-trim hybrid rav4 without waiting months would rather just get cx-5...not a first model year and japan-built

Sitting on my wifes Matrix's all-seasons til her new winters come in and I can take her old ones. Dim lighting so you can't see how insanely sunk the rears are while I wait for the new hub-centric rear spacers to show up

Is it still classified a SUV if it's lowered?

Switched out the corporate whip for the 5.0... fuel economy is shockingly similar to the Ecoboost.
