Actually... I believe you can get all the R-parts (abeit expensive) without owning one, but not the R-GT parts. Again, profit model at work!

Not a R or S, but case in point... They can still look at it under a "cover" lol. Note how the other cars surround it too. He can't pull out the nsx without moving the others.

Sadly it's pretty faint given how many flippers/boring rich "collectors" there are out there.

Don't get me wrong if I was loaded I'd bring my car back to immaculate factory condition, but I'd still drive it.
