first thing I thought of, was must be in the US.
why not sue the parents of the kid that was driving instead?

Didn't people die using the autopilot feature in the Telsa? Shiet you might as well sue Telsa for that too!

i'm sure the moneys gonna make the family happy like their son is gonna be rise from the ashes,he could've easily taken out a family driving on the road also.

apparently some people don't know speed kills and Darwin wins.

Tesla could easily fire back saying speed was a factor in poor road conditions, what type of parent are you to hand over keys to anyone who's a known speeder, what were the conditions of the road tires you didn't look after also.

the court costs for the family is gonna dig them a deeper hole in their wallets after all is said and done.

This is really the only positive that can come out of this. I shied away from a Hybrid because the additional 1000 lbs of batteries compared to the gas version reminded me that there are dangerous little boxes of chemicals right there in the car. In fact, they're right under your balls! Or for you ladies, right under your lady balls!

Make electrics safer and lighter, and I'll come on board.

The concept of suing over the death of someone with no dependents just seems so greasy to me. Nothing will bring them back, so why try to score a payday off your kids death?

As for the car, if the parents didn't want them speeding they shouldn't have let the kid be driving or bought a slower vehicle. Even if the limiter had been enabled they'd still be going over 2.5x the speed limit and still be dead.
