| I made my own Chinese fruit cake
Yah... I did it!! It's 9 friggin inches of deliciousness. Saved me uhhhh 30ish bucks ? Taste a lot better making it yourself. Ingredients only cost about 5 dollars.

chinese cakes are usually made with whipped creme instead of fondant or icing. Plus generally wayyyy less sweet than their western counterparts.

da fuck? i havent a clue.. im using a kit i bought at superstore for 8 dollars. it has a bunch of metal nipples. i choose one of those metal nipples....

Next time you pipe cream onto a cake, think of a Spirograph, instead of just squeezing it on top. You’ll still get full coverage and have a much more beautiful layout. Do as many layers as necessary   | |

That's pretty. I'm going to make another cake this Friday for my broski's birthday and I'll try that. It's sad that I'm making him a cake as both our wives are utterly useless hahaha.
