Vancouver Auto Show starts tonight, supposedly a McLaren Senna there? That's what I heard anyway.
Anyone going to check it out or heard anything about discount codes for tickets?

the senna and hoonicorn are supposed to be there this year. VIAS facebook page has posted pictures of the hoonicorn in vancouver already.
discount code 1400hp will take a few bucks off admission but the bcaa membership discount for the best discount I've seen ($11 for weekday, $13 for weekend)

What the heck is with Mercedes and BMW? The two German car makers are not participating in the show this year.
MB has not brought their cars to the show for the past few years.

Lots of Germans on the upper floor usually...... it's well worthwhile for an evening go round at $9.99 I think. I personally don't give a crap about new Mercs or Bimmers beyond maybe the M2 but there's lots there to see for the reduced price.

Just noticed the BMW parts on the Supra...does this mean the new Supra is going to be like the 86 where most mechanical parts are non-toyota and the only Toyota thing is the design?  | |

MB was there last year, but didn't show up the 2 years before. Looks like they're out again this year.

I saw a dude drive a nice 488 yesterday and the first thing that popped into my mind was how uncomfortable that car is. The ride is stiff as a seahorse mattress, the footwell has no space for tall drivers since it slants into your left leg, and how getting in and out of it is such an ordeal due to it being so low and the wide door sills. 
Just look at that footwell... where the shit are you suppose to put your left leg? im 6'2 and i cant sit in that damn thing for more than 15 minutes without my back going out.
