asian_XL 04-13-2019 04:53 AM

Agreed, why is that sad?

I've never been so inspired to start farming ducks. Now I have a clear path on how people succeed in real estate. You must first farm ducks and the transition will naturally lead to being ballin.

Its missing the part that includes corruption...government officials...embezzling government funds etc.

老爸车坏了,快给我买她新的。保时捷不行还是买法拉利吧。

If you think having a degree equals wealth you might as well believe in Santa Claus and tooth fairy.

So?

This reminds me: when I was graduating from kindergarten, they recorded a video of kids doing various kinds of activities and gave all the kids a DVD copy of it.

There was one section where the teacher asked what everyone wants to be when they grow up. Everyone said pretty "normal" jobs, like police officer, post officer, etc. Then this one kid said he wants to raise pigs. All kids laughed at him for saying that.

I watched the DVD one day quite a few years later with my grandparents, and we all admitted that this kid was a clever mofo - you can actually make quite a bit of money doing that if you know how to run a pig farm well.

But who knows what that kid is up to nowadays. I said I wanted to be a doctor, and that's not happening now.

And what kind of degree are we talking about here? If you have something like Liberal Art... Yeah I don't know what you are expecting.

prudz 04-16-2019 01:37 PM

Your own post is very conflicting. You think the kid was clever but think an arts degree is useless.

blkgsr 04-16-2019 02:21 PM

back on point for the thread:

haha fucking idiot

How is it conflicting?

The kid would be business clever if he knows how to run a business well, regardless of their education.

Having an education doesn't necessarily mean you are smart.

An Art Degree's usefulness? Only one I can think of is you can get $8k on a design for the logo for City of Vancouver, then come up with something anyone can make in Microsoft Word in 1 minute and call it "Art."

Ah, that brings back some childhood memories. I remember messing with WordArt when I was a kid.

Oh and WordArt would still require more effort than that new logo for CoV.
