Costco richmond shows arrival of 60 units on the 24th. But we’re behind on trucks so could be delayed. I’ll post in here when I know

I dunno .. .looks like a prime candidate for something you buy, have fun for 2 weeks and then it sits in the corner of your garage for years. Looks hip for a chic ... but a grown ass man ... looks dorky as hell.

this is the only thing I'm waiting for from the Jetson's

I literally just un-ignore listed you this morning after a long time. Back you go trololololo

Good thing it’s Costco. Just use that return policy to its fullest

Does anyone know of any clubs for PEV(personal electric vehicles) in Metro Vancouver? Would be fun to do group rides like they have in San Fran, New York etc... Of course once the pandemic is over.

Damn... I know the e-scooter pilot project in BC was supposed to start, but I didn't know it went live just over the weekend!

And I still haven't decided on which one to get yet! FailFish

Any recommendations on a E kick scooter with a $1500 ish budget?

Looking for a commuter from Cambie to Fraser and back. Plan on riding in light rain as well

Brand new, Sur-ron X i bought thinking i would use for an ebike. I am 67 yr old and first ride found out it has much more power and speed than I expected. Checked on line and says up to 80 kph. I paid $6800 with taxes and has under 1 km on it. Offers because i would like something more suitable
Guy wants $5500 for it.

That looks like it would be a lot of fun to goof around on.

Wow... I mean... my Kawasaki 250cc dirtbike maxes out at 140... that thing isn't far off!

I'd sure want a lot more substantial calipers and discs at 80km/h though... what's on that thing isn't going to stop it in anything resembling a hurry, not even a hydraulic system. Scary.

Dirtbike also only cost $2500 USD at the time I bought it so... uhm... unless this thing is really light? I guess you don't have to license it/have a motorcycle license to ride it... but you should lol

GLOW 04-21-2022 08:04 AM

i can imagine people on these things just RIPPING it down bike lanes and bike paths ...

i've seen some people on e-bikes/scooters going pretty damn fast while waiting at lights in my car.

Its got hydraulic brakes? looks like 8" rotors, would be more than enough to lock up those tires. Having more brakes isn't going to do anything if you can't keep traction

SkunkWorks 04-21-2022 09:34 PM

Not to mention knobby off road tires on asphalt for the uninitiated isn't the most stable thing in the world...

You can even mod it for more speed. This one goes 80 plus MPH.

Did you see it in a different photo? I don't see a reservoir for brake fluid... just looks like a standard bicycle cable pull system?

From the website: High Performance Brakes

The braking system features opposed, four-piston hydraulic calipers with metallic brake pads and 203 mm discs for safe and reliable stopping power.
