Condo Dryer Vent

Hi all,

I appear to have a moisture issue in the ceiling in my bedroom. I can see a light stain and the 'popcorn' finish bubbling. The ceiling is cooler to the touch but not moist.

I can only think of the bathroom/dryer vent being the issue as the condo has the same layout above our unit (bedroom).

I missed the last vent cleaning so looking to hire a vent cleaner unless there is a DIY fix.

Any recommended condo vent cleaners out there? Hoping that resolves the issue before I need cut a hole in the the ceiling and repair.

Cheers.

You should ask your strata which company they use to clean the dryer vents regularly, and then contact that same company.

That's right and if you decide to hire someone else make sure they have a business license in case anything goes wrong they will have the insurance to cover the cost.

Is like my dad's place their toilets starts leaking stuff to the unit below and is a super easy fix. Basically you can buy this rubber piece from Home Depot which is like $5 and replace it yourself but because he lives in an apartment he have to hire someone with a license to come in and fix it and get the bill showing the strata he hire someone to fix it.

Thank you gentlemen. I'll try that route.
